Good morning everyone.

In my point of view, the digital education is one of the upcoming technologies which will benefit us in near future. Most of the college students may find it difficult to understand all of the things taught in the class. So they prefer video lectures on YouTube and other websites and find that more fruitful. So presently digital education has a big impact in education system which I find very helpful for educating India.

But it doesn't mean that it will diminish the traditional education procedure because we all know school and college is the root key and home for students, and the teacher student consultation is not present in case of digital education.

In a nutshell, traditional education is always required and digital education will help all the education process to become more effective for educating all the people.

Hello everyone,

I believe evolution of technology as well as human beings goes hand in hand. With the advancements in new technology and affordability people have become more aware of what's happening all around the globe. With the introduction of tutorials in youtube from various sources and courses like moocs students rely more on online courses rather than classroom as because they get to select their instructor from various other instructors and in case of any doubt they can easily discuss in with their instructors in the discussion forum, which majority of the students avoid due to the fear of being made fun of by their friends, which I personally strongly resent. Other major factors that contributes are that the courses are self-paced and most of them are free of cost. So anyone can access the materials anywhere and with numerous options in the internet students can switch from one website to another according to their preferance and understandability.

Hello everyone,

I am glad that we are discussing on the topic whether digital education has taken over traditional education. According to my point of view productive change must be there rather only change. Traditional education has its own advantages and disadvantages and same is with digital education. Traditional education makes class more interactive and interesting, students can clear their doubts then and there, can also meet the faculty outside and discuss their problems sometimes more information can also be gathered related to the topic. While disadvantages are it's not the smart way of learning things in the present rate of developing scenario, students are not inculcated with the practical knowledge. On the other hand, Digital education helps students to inculcate effective self-learning skills, minimizes the time to learn a single topic. For example Foreign countries prefer digital learning they don't read books all night before exams and vomit out the next day. Practical based knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge.

Thank you.

Yes, Agree @Harshu.

As we are living in the digital world. We are all using the digital method for money transaction. So similarly digital education also good.

Online learning is flexible. Online programs allow students to choose the way they learn most effectively. Learning tools and technology enable students to develop effective self-directed learning skills. They are able to identify what they need to learn, find and use online resources. Students using digital learning tools and technology become more engaged in the process and more interested in growing their knowledge base, so they are confident and self-motivated themselves. So there are a lot of benefits in the Digital education.

Hello Everyone,

In the modern era, Education has become partially digital in most of the educational institute digital method of teaching are used like in most schools smart board is used to teach the concepts to the students. Not only that but also many teachers used online platforms where they upload there lectures and students prefer those lectures over the physical classrooms as these are cheaper than those and student can take those lectures from anywhere in the globe.

As the digital education is providing all the comfort to the students many of them are preferring digital Education. However, the environment that a student got in the traditional education system and the teachings that physically appearing teacher can provide cannot be provided in digital education. But according to today's scenario, most part of the traditional education has been acquired by digital education.

And according to me, in near digital education will take over traditional education completely.

In my point of view, change is always good. So if the digital education is imparting more knowledge and skills to students, then it's good to adapt it. But it does not mean that it should completely overtake the tradition education as traditional education has its own advantages in itself.
