Rush for MBA is definitely rush for money because if people are investing lakhs of money in order to gain that degree, obviously to get more returns than they have invested. More over a mba person has its own status he stands apart. In terms of knowledge and academics. MBA teaches and sharpen your management skills, which is the main asset of any MNC, Small firm or family owned business. A person can get a good pay package and a businessman can make profits by utilising his MBA Skills. Ultimately the goal is to make money along with your individual development.

Well, According to me the statement "the rush for MBA is really a rush for big Money" is very much correct to an extent. This is because for survival, one needs money (especially in a country with developing economy like India) and for that your need a course which can polish your skills regarding management of anything as management is very vital in every field (commerce, arts or science) therefore, you need something which can boost you mentally and financially on the whole.

Good evening everyone,
According to my point of view I feel that the statement is not correct because most of the people purse MBA to set up their own business and few of them to become managers and not all MBA's get good package it depends on the type of college they are graduating for ex if you take IIM's in to consideration the initial offer they get is very much lump some and if you take normal b schools MBA they get very less compared to schools people are not getting into MBA for money but to gain some skills in business field.

Good evening friends, I know MBA is a well-reputed degree course. MBA course is very beneficial for college students it's a good course it helps in building good communication skills and for self - development. It includes many important subjects like management, accountancy, human resource management, principles of marketing, rural development, entrepreneurship development, information technology & its implications in business, project management, IMC, etc. MBA is a platform of not improving your knowledge but also developing your skills. It enhances the confidence of students when you read all business topics.

Yes, The rush for MBA is really rush for big money.
I can explain you.
For doing an MBA, People have many goals and objectives behind it. Today everyone knows about MBA and the money which can earn by this. First of all, the person who is the owner of any organization or business and company, who wants to continue his business and company for next-generation than his son or daughter has to do MBA for better Management skills, communication skills, leadership quality, good knowledge, etc. For increase and handle his business carefully.
Today MBA has become a luxurious way which everyone wants to earn it because MBA helps to increase Management skills, communication skills, leadership quality, good knowledge which is very useful in big multinational companies.
But you have to know that MBA is not a vegetable which anyone can buy it, its a degree of Master which wants good quality and personality inside you and that quality can be grown by a good institution and colleges like IIMs, Delhi University, etc. And to get admission in these institutions you must already have good quality and knowledge than you will get a big package of money by Multinational companies.
So, my conclusion is, The Rush in MBA is really for Big Money.
Thank you.

I do not agree with the generalized norm that doing MBA is rush for money. MBA enhances skills of decision making, choosing the right things, better prioritizing, people management which is required at each and every mode of life. Even if the person is in core technical career realizes that management skills are unavoidable.
Even now a days most of the people who aspires for MBA, want to be authoritative, important, decision making positions, which will bring difference.
Rush for an MBA is more because of the need for the management skill rather than money.

Hello friends in my view, we can't say that the peoples doing MBA only for earning high. Because some peoples doing MBA may be for their passion, may be for earning high, may be for getting government job or may be doing MBA not getting good job after graduation such as B-Tech, BCA, BBA etc.
I will give you my brief view on all these above points one by one. As all we know that doing MBA after graduation is helpful for earning high money but this is applicable to only those students who can done their MBA from good college and more important doing MBA is not enough to earn high, there's also need of good communication skills. If someone can do MBA from not good college, then it is not gurantee that he/she get good salary MBA.
Second, some person doing MBA for their passion. As we see that some peoples not doing any job after MBA or some peoples do MBA after getting good government job also. So we can't say that peoples do MBA for earn high because some peoples do MBA for their passion also.
Third, also some peoples do MBA for getting good government job. There are some government sector which held minimum qualification for some post is post graduation or MBA. SO may be some peoples do MBA for that purpose.
And last may be some peoples do MBA not getting job after graduation like B-Tech, BCA, BBA etc. Because as we know that the number of colleges for B-Tech, BCA, BBA etc are very large and competition is increases. So some peoples doesn't got job after graduation and may be they do MBA for getting job.

The rush of MBA not for big money because in sense of big money means when you take admission in Top most B school i.e, IIM. Other than top B school no any grantee to get good job. Generally do MBA after graduation for taking specialization in any field which help for getting a job.
When some one do MBA after engineering that may be two reasons behind this.
1. They want paper work (not want plant/operation duty).
2. They want rise very fast in organisation by help of certificate.
