MBA colleges are like retail stores now. One can find one MBA college in every corner of a road. Most of these colleges don't have good amenities and faculty.

They are deteriorating the standards of India education system. More over that the books used in these colleges are outdated and have almost zero credibility.

All I request to opt quality colleges and refer management books that has a good value for the future and learning.

Well, According to me the statement "the rush for MBA is really a rush for big Money" is very much correct to an extent. This is because for survival, one needs money (especially in a country with developing economy like India) and for that your need a course which can polish your skills regarding management of anything as management is very vital in every field (commerce, arts or science) therefore, you need something which can boost you mentally and financially on the whole.

Doing MBA is not for the quick rush of the money. Just answer a question, do you like a high profession with low salary or low profession with high salary? an educated person gives first preference to the high profession only. In case if we get low salary after MBA, we don't disappoint much because we gain a legend skills from it.

So I don't agree with this concept.

Hi all,

Some engineering students joined in colleges due to some kind of forces from the parents. Such students may not be interested to work in their field. So, they want to divert from that path. Some students may really interested in doing MBA. They have spent much money for BE. And MBA. They want to payback to their parents. So I agree.

I think doing MBA for a person not only rush for big money it may be for their passion, for gaining skill and knowledge and increase educational status. MBA provide us platform for satisfaction, achievement and success. I helps in developing managerial skill, leadership skill, communication skill, entrepreneurial skill and confidence. To be a competitive in todays world MBA is very crucial. It gives knowledge about time and money management. There are lots of person who have not MBA but they are considered as successful person.

So, doing MBA is not a rush for money, there are other factors which person can gain by doing MBA.

Surely not everyone who has an MBA degree gets well paid but it'll be fabrication to say that all MBA aspirants are interested just in knowledge and not money. Infact, the truth is the opposite. It's the quickest way to get rich and people are opting for this shortcut!

So yes the rush for MBA is actually the rush for money.

MBA, its a plus point to one who, manage a firm, in every work there is need for management, management means complete a work with minimum of cost, as early as possible, with a good perfection, for that we have two study the problem or the work that you have to do. We want to take decisions to solve that problem, for that we have to know the procedures for solving the problem, to know the difficulties came at the time of problem solving.

On doing the MBA, a person who gets the skill to understand the problems and the ways to solve it in a practical manner, by the projects and such things he gets practical experiences.

A person knowing with this things go for MBA is not in a way for big money, he went for developing his skill and knowledge. And also developing this he became success in his profession. On seeing that some one without knowledge about MBA, they think that if MBA I can get more pay from anywhere. So came this problem the rush for MBA.

Hello friends in my view, we can't say that the peoples doing MBA only for earning high. Because some peoples doing MBA may be for their passion, may be for earning high, may be for getting government job or may be doing MBA not getting good job after graduation such as B-Tech, BCA, BBA etc.

I will give you my brief view on all these above points one by one. As all we know that doing MBA after graduation is helpful for earning high money but this is applicable to only those students who can done their MBA from good college and more important doing MBA is not enough to earn high, there's also need of good communication skills. If someone can do MBA from not good college, then it is not gurantee that he/she get good salary MBA.

Second, some person doing MBA for their passion. As we see that some peoples not doing any job after MBA or some peoples do MBA after getting good government job also. So we can't say that peoples do MBA for earn high because some peoples do MBA for their passion also.

Third, also some peoples do MBA for getting good government job. There are some government sector which held minimum qualification for some post is post graduation or MBA. SO may be some peoples do MBA for that purpose.

And last may be some peoples do MBA not getting job after graduation like B-Tech, BCA, BBA etc. Because as we know that the number of colleges for B-Tech, BCA, BBA etc are very large and competition is increases. So some peoples doesn't got job after graduation and may be they do MBA for getting job.

Just earning money is not the solo motto for doing the MBA for the students. The matured students know what to achieve and how to achieve. Most of students of today have clear path to built up their career. Their decision for MBA should not be seen as the task just for earning; yes, it is good career. Nowadays, many students from engineering side are perusing the special training course like SIx Sigma; Lean management; DFSS theory application etc. Such trainings are conducted by global management companies.
