In my point of view, the rush for MBA is really a rush for big money. Its correct. The students join in MBA either aim to make huge money or just wants hike their salary, but however if a student wants to make him/her entry through out the corporate sector then must have some extra ordinary outlook with a positive attitude and good personality, which comes from MBA.

I think in my point of view the MBA is only a big rush for money because in some colleges without proper faculty and what the use of paying much amount and the management will not provide placements to students.

If we see some years ago, larger population of our country was uneducated. And that time for becoming rich they was indulge in unethical and illegal activities. But today our large population are become educated with many professional courses. And working hard for earning a good money. If they want to rich then there is no problem because every one has rights and freedom to become rich. They are also contributing in economic and growth of our country and due to the these peoples our country are now becomes a big economic country.
But on the other side we see there are also some people like our leaders in parliament they are also becoming rich but they are doing these illegally and unethically. They are the main reason because of that our country is lacking with other countries in compitions. Even the MBA's are becoming rich after there effort and hard work and not doing anything wrong.

Absolutely most of the people want to make money from the field whatever they are in so for my consideration, if someone want to make big money, they must go for MBA.

Yes, Rush for MBA is really big rush for money but I believe if you are able to do any work then you can make money through another way.
Nowadays it's peoples mindset that if they will do MBA then they only can make money. Instead of doing your willing work you can also make huge money.

Of course , MBA is the best option for people who wish to be a millionaires. But not all MBA holders are such candidates. There may be some who have the goal of taking a small company to international level like Dhirubhai Ambani etc . But most prefer MBA for sake of money as they have spent much while receiving it's education .
However , I agree with this concept that "Rush for MBA is really a Rush for Big Money."

some students looking for MBA to learn leadership qualities.

The Rush for MBA is really a Rush for Big Money. Is really true. But every MBA degree holder doesn't gets a guarantee to have hike in their salaries. And every MBA degree holder doesn't proves to be the best manager with a degree. Management skills are ones ability to manage. These skills doesn't comes with a degree. But one can improve these through a degree. Only. For 10% of the MBA'S this quotation proves true. As one with only a MBA degree is not hired. They are judged with their management skills only. And only for them this quotation proves true:).

I agree with my friend Harshith. Most of the students selects MBA as their PG only because they know that relatively, in this field there is much scope for earning more money. Specially higher middle classed people who wants to earn money as fast as they can. As usual in this case also there may be some exceptions but they are negligible. So I agree the statement "the rush for MBA is really the rush for money".

Sorry for not agreeing with you all friends. But MBA is not only about dealing with the money matters properly and making big money that is especially about well administration of all the different departments of any organisation or business that leads you to earn better than any other field. And also I would like to mention here that no one millionaire has a root of entirely MBA. They have achieved it with their own talent and skills and later on improved them with MBA.
