I completely agree with Neetu that pursuing MBA doesn't make a person the best, there must be some managerial skills too. There are lot of burning examples of greatest entrepreneur they build up their own industry without having the MBA degree. But for a few decades it has been a trend to do MBA whether they are capable of managing themselves or not. But not for all some are really talented and they have the skills to manage others so it is partially correct that rush for MBA is a rush for money.

Ya I think that the rush for MBA is rush for big money because if you have completed your degree with any of the colleges which is not so good and if you will do MBA afterwards then surely you can expect a good salary in any multinational company. So I can say that the rush for MBA is rush for money only now a days.

The Rush for MBA is really a Rush for Big Money. Is really true. But every MBA degree holder doesn't gets a guarantee to have hike in their salaries. And every MBA degree holder doesn't proves to be the best manager with a degree. Management skills are ones ability to manage.
These skills doesn't comes with a degree. But one can improve these through a degree. Only. For 10% of the MBA'S this quotation proves true. As one with only a MBA degree is not hired. They are judged with their management skills only. And only for them this quotation proves true.

Sorry for not agreeing with you all friends. But MBA is not only about dealing with the money matters properly and making big money that is especially about well administration of all the different departments of any organisation or business that leads you to earn better than any other field. And also I would like to mention here that no one millionaire has a root of entirely MBA. They have achieved it with their own talent and skills and later on improved them with MBA.

I agree with my friend Harshith. Most of the students selects MBA as their PG only because they know that relatively, in this field there is much scope for earning more money. Specially higher middle classed people who wants to earn money as fast as they can. As usual in this case also there may be some exceptions but they are negligible. So I agree the statement "the rush for MBA is really the rush for money".

Well, doing MBA definitely gives us good Job. But it depend upon us. In which skill we have interest. Ambani, bill gates they not done MBA but they manage their business well and rush money. Here MBA is not point of view. If any one interest in management they definitely do MBA.

In my view the main reason of getting MBA degree because if any person is done 10th, 12th and graduation. But he did not get 60% criteria in 10th, 12th and graduation. So that person always think that if I will do MBA than we can get job very simply. And after getting MBA+exp. So we can get good job in market with good salary. And after getting experience no matter of criteria.
