Should voters be given a NOTA (None Of The Above) choice?

In my opinion, the NOTA option in the election is a sign of improvement in leaders because voters don't want to vote for them because they know about the party leader's work or not in society.
In the other hand, some people use the NOTA option for their things but they know about there pros and cons of selecting the NOTA option it is not used for their personal use.
When they select the NOTA option means the voter is not consistent the leader is not for that position and for society's improvement.

In my opinion, the option NOTA does not make that much sense.
Let's take an example if there are 4 candidates and let's consider (there is a person x) who thinks all the 4 are undeserving candidates so he pressed the NOTA option.
So by him pressing NOTA, it does not mean that no one will. The one with the maximum votes among 4 of them will win and thus he is wasting the vote. So rather than that he should look out of the 4 who have some deserving qualities and vote for that respective person.
Let's take an example if there are 4 candidates and let's consider (there is a person x) who thinks all the 4 are undeserving candidates so he pressed the NOTA option.

No doubt its a very good option provided nowadays to voters to initiate them to vote at least and not to waste their votes even they are not in support of any candidate. But it will be best at its service if each voter is aware of the actual meaning, use and consequences of NOTA. Only then NOTA can prove helpful for voters as well as for nation. Because nowadays not many people are aware and the no.of voters use this option is very low. Which result in almost negligible effect of NOTA option.

According to me, NOTA is the must but its need some changes. One of the good things of NOTA is, its can avoid fake votes, those who absent. But the main drawback is if the NOTA gets 99 percent votes and if any candidate gets just 1% votes, he will become a winner. This needs to be changed. If NOTA votes are higher than any candidates, re-election needs to be done and the previous candidates should not be allowed to stand. Then only NOTA will become powerful and it can bring a positive change.

Hello everyone.
According to me, I would say that having nota for an election as an option is really good idea, if suppose there are the other two parties in the election to whom the voter if suppose doesn't adjust to the idealogy of that respective parties, But forcing him or her self to vote any one among them is like not having the right to freedom of speech and expression, but having nota as an option really provides the voters their rights of expression, giving them mental satisfaction.

NOTA should be implemented. Nowadays famous personalities such as movie stars, sports personalities etc. Come to politics. People vote for the popularity, not for the character or talent of the person. Also, many people vote for the party their previous generation has been supporting rather than voting for the candidate who is good and talented. NOTA can act as an eye opener for the parties and the government to understand that the people are not happy with the candidate and their notions.

But then the same members will stand for the election & automatically one will win.
All though the NOTA states that "None Of The Above", what is the use of it. Time is waste, money is waste.
I think government must make some changes, whenever we get the higher number of votes for NOTA. Then we can see some changes in our society. Hope something happens in next election.

As per my view, NOTA is good step to change the mind set of people towards democracy. In India, people not able to stand in elections only those people stand who got it by their forefathers and we can't stop them. By NOTA if 70% and above votes in favour of NOTA than it mean there are no right candidate in the election. It is a good way to show our disagreement towards the government. On the basis of this govt takes the eligibility of the corrupt candidate and doesn't give chance again.

According to me, voters should get NOTA choice because as we people know that in elections all the citizens are allowed to participate so poor are mostly never getting the facilities that they expect from the candidate. In our parliamentary system poor and low caste peoples opinions have no special value so if they will complain, then also no action will be taken on their opinion. So if there will be NOTA choice they will be satisfied with their vote and they will not feel bad.

As NOTA shares have a crucial role in election. People will take it so casually, and select NOTA as a choice for some silly reasons, like their caste people haven't got a ticket.
