I think smoking should be banned because if we just give awareness about the effects of smoking the people who are addicted to it will not be concerned about the awareness but instead they will try to ignore it. And if we ban smoking it will at least help the beginners get rid of from it. But on the other hand, if we ban smoking totally why the people who are so much addicted to it may try to come crime or do drug deals which will lead to problems in our country and will ruin their life.

The term smoking means smoke that is injurious for health. Smoking in daily life with large amount is harmful. In my opinion, smoking is not just bad. In daily life, people can smoke over release their tiredness, stress etc. Some people smoke for their fun and some are when emotional stage. The poor people take lots of smoking in their life for their reliefs. The government should ban this for over smoking in state and their cause of high death rate. It should not completely ban.

Thanks.

According to me, it should not be banned all of a sudden. Because smokers usually get pleasure from that. So if we ban it all of a sudden there is a chance of getting into the drug consumption by them and many poor people will lose their employment. So it should be a slow process. First, create awareness among the people and then go with ban on some companies which effects very badly and then give a notice that the govt is going to ban it very soon. In that way, we can eradicate smoking.

Banning is not a solution as we know smoking habits get developed throughout several years and can't be corrected in an overnight decision of the government, many people are addicted to it. Instead, an alternative should be thought of which should be less harmful and easily available in the market. And steps should be taken to curb smoking habits in the children at a young age.

Advertisements by superstars should be banned. Awareness campaigns in schools and colleges can contribute.

Yes, I agree with the statement that smoking must be banned completely. Because the analysis had shown that due to the bad habit of smoking a lot of people lost their lives which is not only that but their children become orphan and their wives become a widow. The people who are working in tobacco factories shall be given work in other industries. I am saying this because if we will not take much bolder steps today then we will be facing a much more fatal situation in the future.

According to my opinion, smoking should be banned completely in India as we all know about the side effects of smoking, it is not only causing harm to the smoker but the person standing next to the smoker is also getting harmed from this, see already we are breathing a whole lot of polluted air in our lungs and smoking makes it worst, lung capacity will be reduced due to smoking, it can lead to cancer but nowadays in youth generation it has become a status of swag.

In my opinion, smoking must be banned completely because every year a lot of people are dying because of smoking. According to doctors if you are in a group of smokers, you have 20% chances of suffering from passive cancer even if you do not smoke. So smoking has become a serious problem for those people also who do not smoke but live in the vicinity of smokers. Smoking in the society also motivates to the younger generation who are unaware of its repercussions.

As we all know smoking and other narcotic things have a hazardous effect in every part of the world. In my opinion;a person with these habits is considered poor more than a beggar. Despite the harmful effects caused by these; government is not even feeling responsible towards these situations. Some difficulties may be arised in doing so but as no great success can be achieved without an initial step;they should try to stop the use of narcotics in a better way.

It should be completely banned in all over the country. As we know that it is very injurious in our health. It destroys our life. It causes many diseases. Many of the youth are getting addicted for this. Many youths taking for a fun, it also causes cancer. There are many numbers of people die from this diseases and even they are not leaving. Regarding this government should take important decisions to stop it completely to save the life of our youth.

Hello, friends.

According to my point of view, yes smoking should be banned completely. But the government will never do that as it will face a great loss of revenue and thus it will affect economic development in our country. Secondly, I think this is the one of the government's plan to check the rapid rise of population in our country, as one of our friends said here that around 800000 of peoples died annually in our country because of smoking.
