According to me, smoking ban is not the right way to go, the right way to go is to spread awareness among youth by conducting debates and seminars on the topic. If you will ban smoking youth will resort to cocaine and heroin consumption some or the other way which is very hard to be addict. Due to smoking ban, many will lose their jobs and strikes will be conducted all over the country leading to chaos.

As we all know smoking is a gradual death, means it kills not only the smokers but the people who live around them,
Actually why does some youths get addict to such bad things, main reason beyond this can be parents who have been addicted in cigarette and smokes in front of their children, it will affect children blood in smokes and then at the age of adult they are willing to smoke because their blood already has affected by smokers.
Smoking can be band if public help government and many ways are here how to band cigarette.
1. Impose higher tax on companies, shops. (retailer and whole seller).
2. Restrictions.
3. Awareness of bad effects.
4. Providing job opportunity for addicted people.
5. Helping them to how to gets out of this hell (advice them).

Smoking should not be banned in India. Lot of people getting employment by smoking manufacture companies if government banned smoking lot of people become unemployed. More over government is getting huge revenue by this, once government banned smoking Indian economy will get imbalance this will cause a huge damage to the government by this every individual will have to suffer instead of banning smoking government should give the awareness to the people by consuming smoking how much damage your body getting how people suffer by Illness by preparing some documentary films. If no consumer is buying then gradually the seller stop selling by this way we can ban the smoking.

I think smoking shouldn't ban completely. I agree that it is injurious to health but everyone has their own choices if they want to do then its upto them.
There is warning on the packet of cigeratte they also can read that and after knowing all the effects they want to do.
We can only help them by suggesting no to do smoking by all our heart.

Smoking should really be banned completely from society because it has harmful effects which is deteriorating the quality of youth. Its addiction is the major reason for spoiling the student community and unhealthy life as well as physique. People become drug addicted and due to this many diseases surround them.

As most people will be in favor of banning smoking completely by considering its cons. But I don't think banning smoking can help in saving people form its bad consequences, as person habitual of smoking will find a way or another to smoke (its also visible in more or less every engineering colleges, smoking is restricted in every college but still students smoke by finding a way or another, if banning is helpful then why it had not helped us to prevent students from smoking).
So instead of banning smoking we should concentrate on spreading awareness regarding its consequences.
Moreover we always think a person who smokes is bad thing or we should not smoke, but why don't we think that why a person smokes? let me tell you because he has cigar to smoke so why don't we think to ban cigar? why don't we protest against all the shopkeepers who have cigars in their shops. If cigar won't be available so easily in public a person won't be able to smoke.
In conclusion I would say rather than thinking to ban smoke we should think to remove smoking by it root. It would be more helpful for our generation. Now whether way to remove smoking can be education, awareness or remove cigar.

As we all know smoking and other narcotic things have a hazardous effect in every part of the world. In my opinion;a person with these habits is considered poor more than a beggar. Despite the harmful effects caused by these; government is not even feeling responsible towards these situations. Some difficulties may be arised in doing so but as no great success can be achieved without an initial step;they should try to stop the use of narcotics in a better way.

Yes, I agree that smoking should be banned but it should not be banned because it will bring the problem of unemployment in our country as if smoking will be banned completely the people working in tobacco and other industries lose their job and it creates the problem of unemployment.
So, at last, I want to say that smoking should be banned from our country but it should be a slow process.
