It absolutely infuriates me that myself and others, including pregnant women and innocent children, have to suffer the ill effects of second-hand smoke when out in public. I work in a very congested city centre, it is very rare for me to make it to and from work without having to breathe in someone's cigarette smoke. I find my daily commute turns into a game of dodge the smoker. Sometimes I find myself on a narrow pedestrian walkway with 2 or 3 smokers in front of me, how do I get around that?

I take great pride in my health. I might as well be a smoker myself. They should ban smoking altogether. Allowed only in the home, or maybe a large green house can be constructed in every city where 100s of smokers can all go together and speed up their inevitable demise. I think health organizations need to reach out to smokers more to help them quit for good.

Maybe smokers are just part of a mass depopulation plan. After all, they're slowly killing everyone around them, in public and in their own homes. Maybe it will always be this way. I believe people that smoke have broken souls, they need therapy, forget to stop smoking. Anyway, what a waste of my time writing all of this, nothing will change anyway. BUT ONE CAN DREAM OF A BETTER WORLD.

As we all know smoking is a gradual death, means it kills not only the smokers but the people who live around them,

Actually why does some youths get addict to such bad things, main reason beyond this can be parents who have been addicted in cigarette and smokes in front of their children, it will affect children blood in smokes and then at the age of adult they are willing to smoke because their blood already has affected by smokers.

Smoking can be band if public help government and many ways are here how to band cigarette.

1. Impose higher tax on companies, shops. (retailer and whole seller).
2. Restrictions.
3. Awareness of bad effects.
4. Providing job opportunity for addicted people.
5. Helping them to how to gets out of this hell (advice them).

According to me, it should not be banned all of a sudden. Because smokers usually get pleasure from that. So if we ban it all of a sudden there is a chance of getting into the drug consumption by them and many poor people will lose their employment. So it should be a slow process. First, create awareness among the people and then go with ban on some companies which effects very badly and then give a notice that the govt is going to ban it very soon. In that way, we can eradicate smoking.

Yes, smoking to be banned completely in India. Smoking not only causes serious health issues to the smoker and the people around them but also, effects financially very much. Sale of cigarettes to be banned completely. In NCR we are already under heavy air pollution, as doctor recommendation peoples residing in NCR intakes in so much polluted that it is equivalent to consumption of 10-15 cigarettes daily. Although, smoking not only affecting our health but also our culture too. Many Students under the age of 18 are also active smokers, they attracted towards this habit from because of movies, they thought smoking as status symbol, while they feel adulthood with them. Smoking/Cigarettes to be completely ban although this will effect the chain smoker but it should be banned in phase manner. Firstly, the production to be restricted. Shop selling cigrettes to be registered so that its easy availability to be restricted. Because of easy availability of cigarettes in common places smoking has been increasing a lot and causing serious health issues to Indians.

Yes, I agree with the statement, we should have to ban the smoking in India. As we know that it does not only effect the smoker health it also effecting the surrounding persons. If one active smoker is a friend of someone then there are a lot of chances to change that friend as a passive smoker and slowly to active smoker also. Smoking is very dangerous to health and leads to reduce the person life period. If pregnant women is an active smoker, its results in her baby body growth even before he/she come to this world. Government should have to make awareness seminars and advertisements to ban this smoking completely.

If we ask smokers why they are addict to smoking? They mostly reply that They are tired and by smoking, they are becoming free from it. Whenever they are in a state of unwillingness they will go for smoking and take some relaxation from it and they try to divert from that situation.

As of my experience, I asked so many people why they are smoking and even I asked educated person also they replied the same thing. And I had given an advise to them that try to stop smoking it will results you and your family in brighter. Some of them are followed and some not but I will continue the same thing whenever I find smoker.

Yes, Smoking should be completely banned. It is not only effecting the one who is smoking but also the once in the surrounding of that smoke. For eg. , If one person is smoking at raily crossing, traffic signal or at any other public places, smoking will definitely effect the smoker but along with him the others around him will be effected same as him. So, the one's who are smoking for their pleasure, it is becoming dangerous for others along with them. Smoking effects the health and thus effects the development, power and youth of the country. So, smoking should be strictly banned.

Smoking should be strictly banned as it not only affects the individual's life but also the development of the country. We all know that how injurious is smoking for health. And more than an active smoker it harms to the passive smoker. Just think what happens when a pregnant woman becomes the victim of passive smoking. The infant with her becomes highly vulnerable to diseases even before coming in this world.

Thus when citizens of the country will not be healthy, how can a country be healthy?More than 50% of the population in our country is addicted to smoking. Strong awareness of side effects of smoking is required. Also, government of the country should take the major step to ban smoking completely for bright future of our country.
