Hi, friend.
You agree with your decision. "Smoking is injurious to our health".
In my point of view, smoking should band. It harmful for our health. Smoke injured smoker and other people also. My uncle is a chain smoker. Before few days his heart bloke's 80%.
It is fact most of the smoker smoke for depration. But there have so many things to overcome depration.
Thank you.

Hello, friends.
According to my point of view, yes smoking should be banned completely. But the government will never do that as it will face a great loss of revenue and thus it will affect economic development in our country. Secondly, I think this is the one of the government's plan to check the rapid rise of population in our country, as one of our friends said here that around 800000 of peoples died annually in our country because of smoking.

My opinion is, it is not possible really, to completely ban tobacco products and alcohol. Because government earns a lot of revenue from manufacturing companies. Also, the quitting of addicted smoking in one chance is very hard to do. Many farmers and associated employers of manufacturing company got unemployed by banning them. Instead of banning the following steps should take by govt. Which may help for very low consumption of tobacco products and alcohol?
These are,
1. Increasing the rate of these products.
2. Smoking in public places must be prohibited.
3. Set particular shops for selling. It will definitely lower consumption. Frequent no.of shops is one of the reasons for higher consumption.
4. Government Should set an optimum limit of nicotine content per consumed product.

Hello friends,
I just wanna say that smoking or cigarette factory should not be banned as many people smoke to remove their tension. So, GOVERNMENT SHOULD PUT THE RULES of:
1. Only the age group of 30 should come to buy cigarette in a shop and if any child or teenager come the shopkeeper should inform the cops and cops should inform their parents.

Hi everyone,
I think smoking can be permanently banned by us only because the government has to deal with so many other problems related to the workers, their unemployment, revenues as they make GDP of the country.
We all know "Healthy mind lives in a healthy body" only. So this has to be our personal decision. Besides this, if the government make laws to ban it completely, then there should have some more laws to take action against it. And a long list of defaulters along with cases. Funny as it sounds but Indian courts do not need more pending cases.

According to me, even if the government puts a ban on smoking products, people would still tend to purchase it secretly. Moreover, the authorities involved in this matter would not have a wide reach in every remote corner of the country. Thus, it can't be assured if a country is completely free from the practice of smoking. It is very difficult for a regular smoker to quit smoking. Even a continuous message about the hazards of smoking to the society through various communication channels has not let our country India to be completely free from the habit of smoking. For those who have been working in such factories since long and don't have any further employment opportunities are forced to work in such factories to earn their living. The adverse poverty has let even poor people to earn by selling certain tobacco products irrespective of their hazards to health. The government earns a lot of revenue from these products and it contributes to the growth of this sector thus, it can't be completely banned.
Instead, the government needs to put in certain measures of the quality and selling of such products. Replacing certain hazardous materials with the ones good for health and decreasing the amount of nicotine in a cigarette can be really helpful. Increasing the prices of such products and banning the local brands would force people to buy less which in turn would reduce its consumption.
Banning the practice of smoking or similar tobacco products is not a complete solution to this problem. The government needs to introduce effective ways on improving its quality and educating people to lessen its usage by replacing it with certain healthy products which taste the same.

Hello, friends.
This is Ann,
The topic itself speaks about a filthy means of lifestyle wich we see around SMOKING.
Smoking Kills, a cigarette packet itself contains the bold letters signifying the after effects of smoking Does this really matter? still people go on their way to boost it along the whole life killing themselves.
It should be banned, that's right If we find the reason behind a smoking habitat emerging nowadays in the life of a workaholic chap its a stress reliever for him.
But it's ridiculous to come across youths who take it as a changing pace from a Boy to a Man reborn with this piece of poison.
The smoking population graph itself shows the increasing rate of smokers in between the age of 12-Adult the maximum consumers are youth which has resulted in fatal death, causing cancers to different parts of the body.
If it continues soon we will be losing the youthful crowd of India who are the next inspiring generation and ones who will lead a bright future.

Hey, friends.
According to me, smoking should be completely banned. One of the main reason behind it is that it causes bad disease related to our hung like cancer. Another one is that it causes bad effect on our environment also. There are several reason which is not in favour of prevention of smoking like decreased tax amount of government, but this tax amount is not more than precious of a person's life. Another one is that the black market of this things comes in pictures. Black marketing is also a crime. The solution of this is to make a necessary action by some special department which is government's work.
So according to me, smoking can be completely banned.
Thank you.

Drinking, smoking are all depend on one's mental condition. In this world everything is relative. Too much of anything is bad for one's health. Health is wealth and so intelligent people will go accordingly whether smoking is drinking are banned or not banned. Banning things never solve problems rather it creates more curiosity among young people to go for all these things. Home & educational institutes should be the temple of earning to boost up moral values of the young generation. Society should be free of corruption to educate every young people to show the right path to life. When a person is mentally sound he never falls prey to addiction.

As per the discussion, I would say.
Yes, cigarette should be banned.
Basically, this smoking culture is adapted and understood as a status symbol.
On the packet of cigarette, we find a note stating that smoking on s injuries to health and even in movies a disclaimer is also flashed at the bottom I don't understand when it is harmful and the creator itself knows that it could ruin life then why is it not stopped from producing it.
A pathetic and humorous thing is that at one side people produce it and the other hand they produce such kind of products which can help smokers from smoking to some extent. I really wanted to know what actually these people are supporting.
I have seen some people smoke so that they can get rid of mental tensions really people should find other ways.
Just a puff your life and people dependent on you will be also left alone.
