Should Smoking be Banned Completely?

I think smoking should not be banned completely because it is the major part of the revenue of our country. But besides from this smoking is very hazardous to our health. The government should have to make rules against the use of cigarette, but it should not be banned suddenly because it is the pleasure for smokers. If govt banned this then there may be possibility that people can go attracted towards the drugs like cocaine and heroin. It is more harmful than the cigarette.

The government should have to create awareness among the people and in movies, the use of cigarette should be prohibited because the teenagers get affected by this.

According to my opinion smoking should be banned because it creates lots of diseases for ex. -lung cancer. Mainly it depends upon our mental condition whether we should make habit it or not. When we buy a packet of cigarette, a serious note is mentioned that "smoking is injurious to health". Even in a movie theater, at the time of starting of the movie a disclaimer is flashed that "dhumrapan parega mehnga". Because of smoking large no. Of population are suffering from a number of diseases.

Sometimes it seems logically cool that most of the revenue generated in India from smoking. After china, India is in 2nd position. However, it should not be banned rather we can control ourself not to smoke or quit smoke. That's all. Ok.

According to my point of view, yes smoking should be banned completely. But the government will never do that as it will face a great loss of revenue and thus it will affect economic development in our country. Secondly, I think this is the one of the government's plan to check the rapid rise of population in our country, as one of our friends said here that around 800000 of peoples died annually in our country because of smoking.

In my point of view, I totally agree with smoking be banned completely but not sudden, slowly do this process because if any case government will ban the smoking suddenly some chances of addicted to drugs. Drugs are so dangerous than cigarette so band the smoking slowly.

In my point of view smoking should really be banned completely from society because it has harmful effect. Smoking is injurious to health, smokers by giving money they are buying lot of problem, the person smoking is waste of money.

Smokers says that-they can relieve the stress and tension the every person is having tension in life so smoking is not the solution we should face the problem of our life. Smoking is very bad habit, it causes many disease.

Government has banned Maggie because it is harmful for health but why doesn't they ban cigarettes. Smoking is harmful for people not only smoker but also who are nearby of smoker.

Smoking causes lungs cancer, TB and other health disease to human. It also cause air pollution by this pollution our society will be polluted. In order to overcome this should smoking banned completely. Thanks.

My opinion is, it is not possible really, to completely ban tobacco products and alcohol. Because government earns a lot of revenue from manufacturing companies. Also, the quitting of addicted smoking in one chance is very hard to do. Many farmers and associated employers of manufacturing company got unemployed by banning them. Instead of banning the following steps should take by govt. Which may help for very low consumption of tobacco products and alcohol?

These are,

1. Increasing the rate of these products.

2. Smoking in public places must be prohibited.

3. Set particular shops for selling. It will definitely lower consumption. Frequent no.of shops is one of the reasons for higher consumption.

4. Government Should set an optimum limit of nicotine content per consumed product.

I think in my point of view, It is absolutely correct, as we all know that smoking is injurious to health and it has many side effects :

1. It causes cancer.
2. It causes problems related to the respiratory organ.
3. By smoking, it also causes problem-related to breathing from lungs.
4. By smoking regularly it also reduces the life span of human beings.
5. It also causes effects in the nervous system of human brains.
And finally, from these above points, we can conclude that smoking is very dangerous to our life.

According to me, even if the government puts a ban on smoking products, people would still tend to purchase it secretly. Moreover, the authorities involved in this matter would not have a wide reach in every remote corner of the country. Thus, it can't be assured if a country is completely free from the practice of smoking. It is very difficult for a regular smoker to quit smoking. Even a continuous message about the hazards of smoking to the society through various communication channels has not let our country India to be completely free from the habit of smoking. For those who have been working in such factories since long and don't have any further employment opportunities are forced to work in such factories to earn their living. The adverse poverty has let even poor people to earn by selling certain tobacco products irrespective of their hazards to health. The government earns a lot of revenue from these products and it contributes to the growth of this sector thus, it can't be completely banned.

Instead, the government needs to put in certain measures of the quality and selling of such products. Replacing certain hazardous materials with the ones good for health and decreasing the amount of nicotine in a cigarette can be really helpful. Increasing the prices of such products and banning the local brands would force people to buy less which in turn would reduce its consumption.

Banning the practice of smoking or similar tobacco products is not a complete solution to this problem. The government needs to introduce effective ways on improving its quality and educating people to lessen its usage by replacing it with certain healthy products which taste the same.

Here majority of the people are in favor of smoke ban. But according to me there is no point in forceful banishment of smoking. Because like its said that water will make its way likewise the smokers will find one or the other way of their smoking.

Hence instead we should make efforts in making children and adults aware of the adverse results of smoking. Also we should make the smokers understand about how their addiction affects their family children and also their nearby environment.

So in conclusion I would say that instead of banning smoking completely we should more focus on how to spread awareness and make people realize about how its injurious one's health and its surrounding.

In my point of view smoking should be banned because it can cause cancer and other various disease. It can also be disturbance to non smoker when smokers smoke near to them. This has also affected to young youth where they use cigarette to smoke as fashion nowadays.

This are influenced from television, films etc where they promote the use of tobacco, cigarette etc. This could banned if the government take action to shut down all the factories that produce harmful product such as cigarette, tobacco etc.
