Hello friends,

Myself Suriyabalaji,

In my point of view, One child policy is not the best solution to reduce India's population. We all know that India is the second most populous country in the world, but according to the world population review, India fertility rate ranks at number 94.

So, in my opinion, some other steps can be taken to reduce the population because One child policy may bring so many negative effects such as selective sex abortions, gender imbalance etc.

Hello, I am Rachel,

I would like to share my views on the one-child policy.

Well, India is a large country through population wise. And now India has become the second most populated country. In India resources are limited and the population is increasing day by day. But in my views, India should not have a one-child policy because every child should have a sibling so that they can share their emotions, problems and all the fights. As we Indians are very emotional it is not acceptable in India to have one child. We want all relations we want have enough resources if they use them wisely then there is no need to have one child.

In my view, one child policy is quite interesting but it will be a dramatic policy to the grannies of India. Cuz never ever two child s are not enough to them. But yeah one-child policy is not to be employed cuz it might lead to many dangerous issues. Well, the population is always high and intelligence too. But for sharing and bonding two will be quite good and enough watever the sex maybe. The thing one should eradicate is blind brains of those fathers who are more obsessed o getting baby boys who never care for wife n her problems. One needs to take stand against this. Then the population might control instead of one child policy.

Hello guys,

In my point of view, "should India have one child policy" is totally wrong thinking because we know that the major development of the country is totally dependent on youngsters, it is no doubt that the development of the country also depends on unskilled people, half skilled human etc but if we reduce the birth rate then the number of youngsters also decreases and finally, we conclude that the development rate in any sector also decreases and it harms our economy.

In my point of view, It should be applied, because only the population increment can't be the solution of India's growth. In India, According to Quora "Over 25 lakh, Indians die of hunger every year. ". Is it the best way to Live and develop our country?

I think rather than more children, it should be better resource availability for them so that they can use them and become able to contribute their idea's, knowledge etc in the development of our nation.

As someone also has stated, "A moon is better than millions of stars".

In my point of view, India should not have a one Child policy because it should be dependent on the couples of their interest. Who can afford money can have more than one child and who are from poor background they can only afford one child. So it depends on the individual or the couple. We can't decide the law.

But we have to think of the population also. As India occupies the second position in terms of population. So, not that we are having money we can have 5 children's. Just think about it and having 2 children in a family is good.

Thank you.

Education is more important than Law!

No such law should be implemented but people should be educated about the cause of the population.

It is true that almost all of the problem we are facing one or the other way related to population.

No the India should follow the 2 child policy as per the family one were be a bad or good another one is better child more than 2 is not allowable. All the families were able to protect the 2 childrens only not able to control 3 or more and if the father is unemployed it is very difficult to maintain the family so in India the 2 child policy was be followed is better.

I don't think that one-child policy should be implemented as we are aware of many issues like suicides and all which are mainly taking place due to depression. Which is directly affected by isolation. So if one has someone with him or her to share his or her problems he/she can do with ease as he will be of our age group. I accept that friends can be helping but someone who is available with you every time is your sibling.

But the fact of the population can not be ignored so having more than two children can contribute in a bad way to our nation. So in my point of view, A law should not be made but people should go with two children policy on their own as it will not affect the individual as well as the nation.

In my opinion, we can adopt a one-child policy to control our population. We can implement it for some years to reduce our population growth rate because our population is growing at a very fast rate. In some years, we will leave China behind to become the most populated country in the world. We can think about it.

One child policy can play an important role to control our population. One another reason for adopting this policy is India has the largest youth population in the world and we will remain the same for some more years. So it is possible to adopt it.
