I believe that animal testing at one point could of been acceptable. Now though, when they have alternate methods that are more accurate, I see no reason to continue this torturing and killing of animals. Their are plenty of tests out there now making it possible to test with great accuracy without even having an animal present.
Why don't people use that then? The big corporations are greedy and will choose the cheapest method. Even if it could lead to a possible lawsuit when the inaccuracy of the test makes the product fail in the real world.

My opinion is animals should be tested on because when we find the cure to cancer we will use it for all animals and humans so if you think it's cruel how about they take you and do it to you they and you'll be messed up so keep animal testing to save the humans!

As per my view, every animal is help for ecological useful so first of all as per the Indian cruelty animal act to research use for an animal not for personal interest.

Animals should be used because there are more in quantity and they never die in some cases they die. If they use it on human then many people will die.

In a way using animals is not a right way but if we think in a economic manner then we should test drugs on them (the species which are large in proportion). We complain India is developing country not developed why because we are held back by our feelings, sentiments whereas america sees nothing and I guess thats the reason they are a developed country and if we eat animals so there is nothinhg wrong in that its a part of food chain.

Add to, animals that being tested are not in danger; rats, dogs, mice, and rabbits. As a result, death of these animals does not cause problems to our planet-earth.

Yes, as human beings cannot be get into testing directly we need to go for the animals. They are the speechless creatures what is going to be done with them but to invent some drugs for curing diseases we really need animals. I think it is a selfish human act for their survival sometimes some of them is for animals too. Human being is also an animal but he is master of all these animals. So, it will be through animal which can be used for testing newly invented drugs and medical procedures.

As breeding is easy, we can breed the animals with the similar functioning of the human system and use a few for experiments. To support this, we even kill and eat animals for our own pleasure which would be better for mankind when experimented. It has already been successful.

Scientists are mostly using the drugs on rabbits and mice. Those two animals are pests. They breed extremely quickly and humans are already killing them off. If they are used for testing drugs they are helping out humanity. Mousetraps, animal and humans are killing the animals but there are still absolutely heaps of them left.
