So my opinion about this topic. Religion divides us because of people mentality and thinking. The brahmins family never want to go the Muslims family in their invitation and occasion because they are beef eaters and the brahmins family is against this. So in this situation, the religion divide us. They are not want to share their happiness due to some religion problem. So religion divides us. In the other phase of the topic. When the terrorist attack in the city and in that situation the brahmins family have not other options and they get a help from a Muslim family. So the problem is not discriminate the religion when people get the problem. And they have not other option to get a help and survive. So this is my point of view on this topic that. Yes, problem unite us.

Problems unite us and religions divide us - A 200% true line.

My eyes have always sensed religions only as a mode to separate people and nothing else. If religions are really for the goodness of us, then why come there be so many religions. Isn't a single religion enough for this whole human society?

Religions were imposed on us and unfortunately knowingly or unknowingly we are carrying the mighty burden on our backs all through our lives.

On the other hand, problems unites every single one of us, provided we face the same problem.

Conclusion is that it is upon us to act sensibly and maturely to keep our religions below the threshold. If this is done successfully, there is no real need for a problem to unite us. We would have already been united.

Thanks.

Yes, I do agree with this statement, as going on with the statement problem unites us, there are several examples in font of us when there is a flood or any pandemic or natural calamities occurs in a state or whether there is a war is going on between two countries, we the people are not hesitated to help others there we are not making any kind of boundaries such as religion, race, nationality etc.

The religions that originated from different cultures, provide a base to us. The good messages that are written or portrayed will help to improve our thoughts, but when we see or give more importance to religion than humanity, then whatever religion is followed by you it has no sense. Then the religion will divide you and it has great power to kill humankind.

Hello,

It is true that problem unites us and religion divides us. But I think we have to come across this line of religion for humanity, after all we all humans so humanity comes first. We have to help people during their hard time and we also ask for help to solve any problem. Suppose if any one needs blood for sever bleeding we ask our neighbors and friends who are in our contact at that point of time peoples came together to help that person. At that point of time, we forgotten about religion. So, I think religion can't divides us. Problem and Religion all units us. We know that some political persons and some bigoted person divides people in the name of religion but it is the responsibility of youths to remove this type of problem by raising voice.

Hi,

Problems definitely unite us as whenever there are any protests or strikes against any group or individuals, we never think that the people who are protesting with us belong from our community or not, we never think that are they from the same religion or not? we never think that are they of the same gender or not? We only remember that we are united.

On the other hand, it is said that religions divide us but it is because of our own mindsets because all the religions teach us the same things like unity, peace, justice and equality but we people interpret our religions in a wrong manner that creates disputes and bitterness among all of us. In this way, our love for our own religion makes us hate the people belonging to other religions.

Thank you.

India is a country of "UNITY IN DIVERSITY".

We do have many religions, castes and communities that are different by their own tradition and culture. The religion of every individual is his\her own identity and belonging. But the problem arises when it is compared with each other.

Here ego, hatred, and vengeance are taken into account trying to project which religion is the best. Religion is NOT dividing us. The way we see it from a wrong perspective and comparing two religions in a weighing scale does.

I fear that these PROBLEMS occur and it is not uniting us here as we do unite. Respecting each individual's beliefs and faiths and valuing the same can keep people UNITED despite religions and unite them in standing together to face a problem.

No religion doesn't divide us. Every religion teaches humanity various concepts. But these days religion became a source for spreading hate towards each other for the sake of some benefits that are really harmful to every religion. So, 1st we need to learn what actual religion taught us. Every religion presents peace and harmony. Now coming to the point problem unite us. Yes, the problem unite us for example blood banks at that time no one get thought related to religion because they need blood for life. And also with Covid-19 people were only thinking about their life because the whole of humanity was in trouble. So my conclusion is that religion teaches us how to live in a world with peace and harmony and problem teach us humanity is cardinal.

Hi.

Yes, I agree with the statement "problems unites us" but I am partially agree with the statement "religion divides us". We can take a recent example of Covid-19 that how everyone unites and battled with this problem and lot's of many more situations we have seen in past that proves this statement correct. But I personally thinks that religions never aims to divides us. Religion tells us "sarve bhavantu sukhinah" and "vasudev kutumbakam" these things comes from religions. Some of the people us religion to create conflict and division among the people It's us who fight for religion and dividing people like political parties use it for their own vote banks.

So, I think we the people are responsible for division not the religions.

Hello,

Every person has problemS. Every day we face a lot of problems, we can't expect mankind without problems but when we start facing them that tells how much we are strong in our problem solving skills.

All people pray for the same god in different types of religions when god is showing no difference then why should people show difference in the name of religion. God is only one. God sees only the dedication that we show towards him no matter in which religion we are. India is a pool of religions. When problems arise in India then all the religions unite, become one and start solving the problems. The religion does not divide the people divide it is up to us in which way we choose. So, believe in unity in diversity.

THANK YOU

I agree with the topic "Problems unite us, Religion divides us".

The problem unites us.

When people face a problem, the only thing they search for is the solution to get out of that problem or situation.

For example, if a person is met with an accident and needs blood immediately then he will be required with the matching blood group but not whether the donor is from which religion. If he is thinking of religion or other then he will be at great risk.

In the same way, during covid also everyone came together irrespective of one's religion.

Religion divides us.

Religion divides because of different beliefs and thoughts. They might be in contrast to each other's beliefs which can raise differences when there is no understanding.
