Yes I completely agree with the above statement because players sometimes do things like that they are finding in match fixing. They dialed by the cricket board that is apart but they just want to earn more and money only they do not worry about the fame of nation as well as themselves. Even people invest their money in these games so I thnk this should not happened.

Yes I agree with the point but it does not mean players have less passion about the game.
Because to get greater money and attention, they have to perform well. This modern day sports attracts more people by its advertisements, promotion and new technology. A big example is - Today IPL becomes a big business for those people who are associating with this.

Yes, modern-day sports is an industry in industrialized society because with the internet, sports can reach billions of people and make so much of money makes it an industry like IPL which makes billions just from the Television rights which has people investing money and it is not soo much with skill and ability any more only entertainment.
