Here the main topic is about the management education in India. According to my view this topic has two phases. One is quantitative approach and the other is a qualitative side. Quantitative approach views India has a good number of management institutions. But qualitatively speaking its ratio of real briliant managers to the number of managers produced yearly is a bit of concern for the development of india in near future.
Except for the IIMs and some top B-schools the student to teacher ratio is really poor.Quality of education is blow average and these all institutions are runing a game of profit and loss. So In near future importance should be given to the quality.

But what I feel is, in India thousands of B-schools have come up in the name of management studies and training , and in reality they are just useless and do not provide any management skills to the students.
There are so many institution being opened in every corner that do not cater to the needs of any student be he an avg or outstanding student. They just know to extract money from us and are a black spot on Indian Management edu.
These kind of worthless institution should be closed down and prevent students from getting into them and spoil future.

MANAGEMENT studies play a very important role in every individual .
indian students are very passionate about mba recently in which this condition is not there in previous this is because they want to be leaders . Many of the leaders born from mba because they are trained in a manner that mould the situations favoring to them .

Well if the management education in india is that much better then why are we having only few innovations in India? I agree that institutions in India train people very well for starting their business. But i don't understand why they're failing to train people in a way that they can start some organizations which attract innovators and encourage innovations. why we have number crunchers only even from premium institutions? why aren't we getting organizations like Reliance, TATA again or Google, Apple in india?

Management education in India is going high compared to the earlier days, this is because everyone is wanting to be an enterprenuer of tomorrow, people of these days do not want to work under anybody, they themselves want to become the boss. So for the foundation of starting the business of there own people look in for the management education.

USA has a lot of MBA's . INDIA has a lot of engineers . So USA has a lot of world-known companies which buy intelligent engineers from us. This "Brain Drain" is the reason for the sluggish development in our country . If we need to pace-up , we also have to start MNC's . Most of our students also should start joining business schools and MBA colleges. But it's very difficult as most of the Indians are economically backward.
So , our government should raise the scope , by providing scholarships for them . However , I should say that Management Education is not upto the mark in India .

But my dear friend we are talking about the Management education in INDIA, we are not talking about top management institution in INDIA, if we take the example of CAT then whats the ratio out of 3,00,000 only few are selected, what about the rest of the peoples who are not selected in any top level institutions, either they continuously struggling to enter in a top B-schools or else they spoil their career by taking the admission in any other B-schools which doesn't having good reputation.
In my opinion, The level of Management Education is not accordingly to the population of india.

I think the management education is improved a lot. Here in India we are having a lot of premier institutes which is world re noun. Indian business school is in world's 6th or 7th position also, the management education here is very good so some of the great foreign companies here in india for the search of great indian brains.
The management education in india groom its student not only in management side but also in its personal side. Also, government has taken many initiatives to train its young generation in management skills they have established many central universities so that people of every class can come forward to improve its managerial skills. so for me the management education here in india world class.
