No absolutely not. Why political parties need exemption from income tax investigation. Are they above constitution. Talking about Indian political parties, these are one of the biggest source of corruption. Almost 80% to 90% funds is from undeclared sources. These undeclared sources funds the political parties and later earn that money from unfair means when that party is in power. This is corruption.

Now, the time has come when the political parties should declare their funds and should come under RTI.

The country's economy is digitalizing. Political parties should also promote digitilazation and should declare that they would only accept the fund paid by digital means.

Hello everyone, A very good morning you to all.

This is Ajay Kumar, I think in my point of view it is not fair to spare political parties from an income tax investigation. As we all know that we live in the country which comes in the list of most corrupt countries and we all know that politics are the major cause of corruption in India. So every citizen of our country should follow equal rules and rules are made for all equally to follow. Hence income tax should be levied to all of them who assess more income. If it is implemented then corruption will decrease at a certain level which is a good sign for the development of our country.

Thank you for reading my opinion.

No its not fair to spare political parties from income tax investigation because everything like every fund at last will be handed over to that leaders. They may not use all the fund, they may keep some aside. To come to know this type of issues income tax investigation is must for them.

It is not fair to spare political parties from income tax investigation because every institution, individual are treated equally under the law and political parties also treated equally, the investigation is compulsory to make the country transparent and to know how much black money is hidden with every individual. At the time of elections, political leaders spend lots of black money to increase their rate of voting. This leads to illegal elections and people cannot elect their right and correct leader. By investigation transparency of currency and accountability can be ensured and black money can be ruined this leads to the development of the country.

Thank you.

According to law, each and every person have their own property or provident fund should come under the taxation because most of people are used to keep link with the politics. Nowadays it is the simplest way to convert the black money to white. So it should bound all political parties shows their annual income and source of income. All should maintain a database of their income as well as receipt. And the persons who give the money to various parties like Chanda. The should maintain a maximum amount.

It's a big no from my side. The most important reason of demonetization is black money which is firmly held by the political parties. So they never should be spared.

Hi guys,

I am Akash and yes it is not fair too spare political parties from income tax investigation, why does politics attract many people because of power and luxury. If the money will become transparent too all people then luxury will end from politics which leaves the political party with power which can be used by vision and enthusiastic person who really want change. So no it is not fair to spare political parties from income tax investigation.

Hi, everyone.

According to me, Political parties should definitely not be spared from the investigation of IT department. Law should be the same for every person and there should be no discrimination. Also, a considerable part of the black money is in possession by the political parties which they spend in elections that in turn leads to illegal votings and people doesn't select the right party. So in order to maintain transparency political parties should be included in IT investigation. Thank you.

Definitely, not because every citizen of our country should have given equal fundamental rights so why should this fundamental equality not be introduced on politicians? They are elected by the common man. Our national party like BJP and Congress who got a huge amount through the donation of eminent person because they know once they come in power they will favour their company and will earn a big amount by the party name and government. So their fund should be check on regular basis and any irregularities found, they should be banned. Thank you.

No, not at all. Like any other entity political parties are also entities. Law shouldI be equal to all. An exempting political party from income tax investigation is quite discriminatory. Like every citizen, all institutions including political parties should be brought into income tax investigation. Law has all rights to know about the source of income and items and amount of expenditure.
