Is God Male?

According to me, its just the matter of belief. Some God doesn't exist and for some God is everything. In the same way, for some God is male and for some God is female. Thus there is no one to prove the gender of God. If we consider the holy book Ramayana, we refer Lord Ram and Goddess Sita and thus according to this the gender of God is both male and female. But if we refer the holy books, Quran and Bible, we refer to Allah and Jesus. Thus this entire topic depends on the belief of people. In short, we can just say that God is an epitome of positive energy which helps us to reach our goals efficiently.

GOD is ultimate power who lives in us as faith, humanity, love and strength. GOD is the belief to do good deeds. GOD is the realization of every person in their own imagination. But according to me GOD is neither a male or female. GOD resides among us by binding us through the chain of love and affection.

GOD does not posses any shape or gender, but GOD is an POSITIVE ENERGY that always forces us to do what is right. GOD does not live in temple, mosque or any worship palace but god resides in our own heart, soul and mind.

Myself Joy Mukherjee, others have other opinion, I have my own.

According to me, GOD is nothing but a positive energy in our mind, that reflects when we smell of win, joy, it has no gender, it doesn't leave in temple or mosque or any worship places, it leaves in our mind. It leaves in our heart. Just when we think about it, it boosted up the confidence level or send a green signal to our mind, that we can do it.

Its nothing but our thought. And in every religion the shape, structure and worship process is different, but the subject of doing those is same. Gods are same. And it has no gender. Just to make it visible supernatural empower we defined them in a simple manner by giving the name.

Hi! What I feel is that God is one who gives unconditionally it doesn't matter much whether had is a male or female. He is perfect for each relation which a human think. As a male he teaches courage strength acceptance tolerance and as a female god teaches love bliss purity concern. We just have to make a good relationship with God and use the qualities which God has given both feminine and masculine qualities to make our life better and full of bliss.

It just depends on us how we gonna has a connection with and to make a life we want.

In my opinion there is no separate thing like god other than our thoughts.

"our trust is our god".

If you agree with this, then think if you give any gender to your thoughts, or if you imagine your trust in any one of the thing or person then their gender will be the gender of your god. In any of your works you have believe in that you will complete that successfully.

That means you will feel your work as your god. Then think what is the gender of your work?

According to me. God is those who helps everyone in every situation either good or bad, we can't define the god by gender, god lives inside the every person's heart but now a days people believes their god according to their religion. God is neither male nor female. It is impossible to define god's gender. ? God is exist all around of us. !

I respect the views given by everyone and I went through all the views given by our friends but many are telling that "according to my opinion GOD is like this" but my question is that if we haven't seen the GOD then how can we say that GOD is like this.

Just like an example " if we want to know the value of 'g (gravitational constant) ' then either we can go to any physics teacher and ask them or we can do is that we can refer any authorised book of physics we can know the value of 'g'.

Similarly, if we want to know about GOD then either we can ask to that person who had seen GOD or we can refer the books about GOD (like Bhagavad Gita, Bible, Quran, Vedas etc). So, in the Vedic scriptures, GOD is addressed as ADIPURUSA, ADIDEVA (ref. Braham Samhita (5.1) Bhagavad Gita (11.38)).

So, here GOD is addressed as Purusa that means GOD is male.

In my point of views god is just live in our heart and we can share and says all problem with the god i.e : heart according to me our god is our parents who just complete our all wishes and they overcome us with the problems and they fight with everyone for us when anybody hurt their children. And parents who worried for their child and who give birth to us. We can't see god on the earth but they have existence. If we want to watch god and if we want to know the gender of God ! you will have to do nothing for it just look towards your parents.

We can't divide our god in Muslim they concern that their god is ALLAH and in Hindu people they concern Laxmi, shiv, lord Krishna. , . It's just division of god. Your real god is your parents who just make you successful in your life.

My conclusion is that god can't present on the earth for the individually person for their wishes and for their problems. That's why god make parents in their second form. Just watch towards your parents they are your real god.

God is neither a human nor animal or any other other species existing on this earth. So its very wrong to decide whether he is a male or female. If we look the other way around we bow our heads in front of stones, trees or any other non living things then we can even discuss the topic if God is living or non living. So it depends from person to person how he or she takes the meaning of God. For me God means Parents which includes both mother and father.

In Bible, Bhagavadgeeta, Khuran we saw human is created by god. God is not a like human so we can't tell male or female. God is our hope and belief. So believe the god. If we believe the god then we can know about hell and heaven automatically. If we can do the good to people we feel after death we are going to heaven. But if we can bad to people we have some fear, we feel oh god is there he punish us so then we can't do that one. If believe in god there is no worry about others. And love and respect your neighbors then god is in your soul.
