Yes, attendance gives clarity to the parents whether their child attending to the college or not, and if there is a need to guide the children they can do that and if there is any problem to the child, they can solve the problem.

Well, as of now attendance is compulsory in every school and college. Basically, we require a minimum of 75-80% attendance to answer exams. As for me, attendance should not be compulsory because we should go to school or college not because we are scared of not getting to answer the exams but for the love of studies. One chooses a particular stream because he has interest in it and wants study more about it or even later specialize in it. This should be the basis for attending college and not for the sake of attendance.

Yes. In my point of view, attendance should be compulsory not only for discipline and punctuality but also to make a better person in their life. It is profitable for every student by its students can get more and more knowledge about their courses and it also get pre-practis of given exam. Many activities organii by collage so this is not waste of time whereas by attempt this activities like GD, Quize, debates etc. We can get not only confidence but also knowledge practise and dare to face it. So attendance must be compulsory for every collage.

Attendance should be compulsory as it makes it mandatory for the students to attend classes.
Student should take college days seriously. Too much of bunking classes means wasting their parent's money and leading to irresponsible behavior.
70-75% attendance should be mandatory in colleges. This will stabilize their set of mind and will concentrate on themselves in a positive way. This will help studentS to maintain a goal and ambition in life.
Teachers should also make class sessions interactive and make use of practical things will encourage students to attend classes.

As we system have in college in which lectures are arranged in classes so there is compulsory attendance but if we don't want this then recorded lectures should be provided online so that students can get them whenever & wherever they want, and no attendance will be required.

Hi, everyone.
In my opinion, there should not be compulsory attendance in College because students are mature enough to take the decision to go or not to go college. It depends mainly upon the quality of the education provided in that class. I believe that a teacher is a performer, it's his capacity and caliber to engage the students so that they can't bunk.

No,
Most of the students prefer self-study than getting confused by newbie's lecturing.
Attending classes is just for the sake of attendance. Anyway, he/she not gonna listen to it. Whats the use in it. If they are enough mature to prefer the course, then they are enough matured to decide this thing too. As an engineer, my attendance is not more than 20% but still managed to enter the top 5. Anyway proxy are mandatory at least

Hi guys,
I am Akash and yes it has to be compulsory to attend the college. This way we can be regular and consistent toward our day schedule which helps us to focus for long, learn new stuff, help us had an experience of tackling a different kind of people and always push us toward hard work. So yes it has to be compulsory attendance in college.

According to my point of view, compulsory attendance is not need for class because some of over students are poor and some others are average and some of them reach the poor student are not able to attend the class because they are going for job because of the attendance they can not attend class in colleges attendance is not most important thing their skills and talents and knowledge is most important.
