Compulsory attendance in college is not at all needed. College students are above 18, they are more concerned about future then college administrator. All of us are very much aware with the quality of teaching availed in colleges. Compulsion must be made on the basis of % scored in exam. Compulsory attendance does not play any role in students live it rather hamper their creativity and talent.

According to me, compulsory attendance is a must for students I know there are many things except studying but if there will be no compulsory att. I m sure nobody wants to go college. And this will affect students only because they will lack college experience, socializing as well as teacher-student interactions. And also we deposit fees for learning, no just to get degree from that college.

Yes, in my opinion, attendance should be compulsory in College. As à am pursuing MBA my attendance is 100% till 3 rd semester. And Its feel good When you have complete attention towards your study. You get a habit of getting up Early in morning and get ready for College. This habit Will help in future When we Will be working in a company or MNC.
So, in my opinion, attendance is compulsory.

In my view, there is no need to have a compulsion about attaining the lectures. If it is about 70 to 60% that's okay. If you have the basic knowledge about subjects that fine. In college life, we must build our EQ by participating in extracurricular activities. As it helps to develop our personality Or along with these students can start his startups up to a small level.

It depends on the student perspective. If student is eager to learn he will attend the class without fail no one can stop him, but if a student is not interested he will not come to class and he will not study on his own. In order to change those students attendance is really needed so that they will come to college. One day or the other some what interest will be created automatically.

According to my concern, attendance is a way of making students disciplined as they can learn punctuality and also it makes the students active and it teaches them the routine that they need to follow so that even in future they can carry this day-to-day activity and there they will definitely bear the fruit for maintaining good attendance. This brings in a good culture for the society.

I would say that compulsory attendance is needed because if there is no compulsion means most of the students won't come to college. It will affect their's life. Instead of changing the limitations try to change the system. That means change the method of teaching or syllabus anything. Make the classes more interesting. Automatically, students will love to come colleges.

Hi friends, attendance is important for college students but the professors are not teaching well to tell about the subject. So they are not interested to listening class carefully. Students don't have any knowledge about the subject and waste of their time. Suppose professors try to tell a good subject to the students, they are automatically attend their classes with good interest.

Attendance is quite essential as it engraves punctuality in an individual. He becomes more serious and hence could develop some potential skills. However attendance as long as it is not forced and the individual is deliberately made to attend lecture could develop some serious undesirable issues. The individual may become good theorist but shall eventually lack the practical skills.

We go to college for knowledge purpose, not for attendance. Nowadays lecture will not give full hint about the subject and moreover, they don't know how to explain the concept.
That's we students need some time to gain knowledge from various ebooks and to revise them.
Finally, Better 50% of attendance is enough.
