Is compulsory attendance really needed in college?

Hi friends.

My opinion in this issue is that compulsory attendance is not needed to college but it is needed.

If in the college where Professor and lectures are available with good staff. The faculty is modern then to attend college and faculty for knowledge is a must.

If these are not and adequate staff and lack of faculty then to attend the college is not need.

Most of the proper students do part time job and run their family.

During college, students cross the age of 18 and the became mature. They are well aware of their future than college admin.

In my opinion, attendance is not compulsory but 75% attendance is compulsory. Some students are willing to involving sports and other activities. Sometimes students have a critical situation they will take a leave. Unfortunately, this will happen.

So 100% attendance is not compulsory. Some other college is not to allow leave but many college students will be free for 25% attendance. It is not really needed one.

The student who has taken a leave strictly maintain their attendance percentage. We should maintain our attendance percentage.

According to me, compulsory attendance really needed in college. It is due to attendance that many students come to college. Change is important. So when new student comes to college they explore many things, learn, think. They get a new environment. They get a chance to interact with new people, share their views, to work in groups and many more. If there were no compulsory attendances then students would not come to college regularly and they might miss a lot of things as mentioned above. So according to me, compulsory attendance really needed in college.

My opinion about the topic of mandatory class attendance.

I think the world is headed in a different direction as opposed to the two decades behind us.

The world is headed in a technological and skilful era. Class attendance should take 50 % of the total lessons. Online classes and research methods should be more implemented in this kind of era.

Professional courses should also come in handy in regard to the type of courses for each particular student. Let the world go In a route of doing instead of cramming.

From my point of view, attendance should not be needed compulsory. As, many of us need to focus on self study rather than listening to boring lectures. Although to some extent like upto 50% attendance could be done mandatory so that everyone would be comfortable enough. Daily attending the classes in college just for the sake of attendance is of no use. So, it is better to sit at home and study. In a nutshell, I would say attendance should not be made compulsory, as there is no point of that attendance until and unless we are not focused towards learning.

In my point of view, attendance is important in college it totally depends on the college teachers suppose if your college has good experience teachers then each and every lecture is important and any student doesn't watch Youtube Videos to study and utilise the time correctly place like practice the coding on computer revise the topic day by day that why attendance is important if your college has experienced teachers.

I think there is no necessary that you have to attend the classes on regular basis for completing just attendance.

We come to college for gaining knowledge and learning not for doing a formality.

By this restrictions, the student gets demotivated and not grow of their knowledge view.

They only in the prison that they don't want to live.

So if you think you educate a person forcefully then you are wrong.

At last, I can only say 50% attendance is much enough for doing college activities.

And other left time is grown for our knowledge.

In my opinion, minimum college attendance is mandatory for an individual. I agree that technology is vast, one can learn more tech skills online than from college but to gain EQ that can only be possible through community learning. If you try to learn online, there can only be one mind working but when you come to college and engage in college activities there can be a group of minds where every person has a different perspective of thinking, knowingly or unknowingly you get a chance to gain knowledge. To be a leader one needs to work in communities.

According to me, attendance must be made compulsory in colleges. In today's world, there are so many things that distract students like drugs, mobile phones etc. If attendance is not made compulsory, the students will fall prey to bad habits and spoil their future as well. Further introducing compulsory attendance ensures that the students develop discipline, punctuality which makes them more professional and well-groomed for the industry. These values cannot be developed overnight, but have to be practiced in student days itself.

Yes. In my point of view, attendance should be compulsory not only for discipline and punctuality but also to make a better person in their life. It is profitable for every student by its students can get more and more knowledge about their courses and it also get pre-practis of given exam. Many activities organii by collage so this is not waste of time whereas by attempt this activities like GD, Quize, debates etc. We can get not only confidence but also knowledge practise and dare to face it.
