In my opinion a score is a measure of how well the person is ready to face the thing which he has learned, and recording the score makes him to think the new ways to improve the score. This way the sport improves and creates perfection in enthusiasm.

A game is compared to life a win is set as goal.

If we want to win you have to score, similarly if we want to reach our goal in life we have to plan ourselves and try to achieve it, no matter if we failed we have to be confident and should progress with every step to reach goal.

This matches with winning in game that whether we win the game or not is not important we have to make sure not to repeat mistakes and keep progressing with every attempt to score runs.

So that one or other day we can finally win.

I agree win is not important and also loses is not acceptable. After we loose we blame if I could have done. The important thing is our best has come out or not and every match our graph should increase even if it is 0.001 a improvement is improvement and this COULD word is very dangerous.

Basically, every sport is a token of enthusiasm for mankind when it comes to a point that how much enthusiastic, there needs an attribute for it which is obviously "Score". And without it, we cannot measure any sport.

According to me, winning is not important in cricket the team which gives their best performance towards the match they are tha winner. In cricket, upto last over we didn't say who are the winners that's why they keep scoring.

Hello everyone,

My opinion on this is I would like to quote that winning and losing is just part of life but not final of course after winning you feel better, gain confidence and are worthy of your efforts.

Keeping track of scores is also important as it tests how much of your capabilities can be compared with your opponent and where you stand against your competitors so its good to know and can improve yourself based on performance which is great for your growth.

We do not keep score for the sole purpose of deciding the winner. Scoring is used as a feedback mechanism.

In exams or sport, how do you know that a concept is wrong, a strategy is not working, a performance is not up to the mark if we are not keeping score? Scores help us to quantify our efforts, and help us achieve more and move more closely to the idea of perfection.

Of course this only applies when you are trying to enhance a skill, arts, sports etc. If your sole purpose of a activity is to have fun, like a friendly children game etc, keeping scores is unnecessary.

Scores play the same role as the marks play in the student's life. It actually tell as our level at which position we are. Suppose if there is no score then how we got to know which rank you get in our class. This is most important because everyone can't be consider at first position to hold the first rank and for making the things interest. So that everyone give their best. For raising the competition feeling. This score system play best role.

If we are not recording the scores during the play then we won't have any sportsman spirit. Nowadays without competition it is quite difficult to survive in this world. So for competition, scores should be recorded so that we could identify our weakness and thus we can reduce it by our hard work.

Hi every one. I am Shashi. In my opinion in this competitive world we need scores to differentiate between two or more teams. If anyone play with enthusiasm and spirit he will certainly win the game. In every aspect of life we need scores go ahead. One more important thing it's your score which defines you that what you are not look or personality. Scores tell others that how consistent you are. If any person or team win any match by cheating or luck it's their score in their past matches put them on backfoot.
