Educational qualification for Politicians

Knowledge and education both are important because without knowledge, and how can we judge what is right and what is wrong?. We are seeing a lot of corruption in everywhere.

Like all people's view even I agree to the same that there should be mandatory exam based on gk, related to politics. They should have atleast minimum knowledge about it, including basic knowledge because even that is imp. Now a days when we the common people are being educated why can't they. So, I don't strongly agree with it but yes I agree.

Qualification can be purchased. One thing is absolutely necessary for politicians. They should sit openly in media and public and answer questions put to them. There should be justification for each action and the word he or she does.

Politicians should have a curriculum of science, social science, and arts.

They should give exams openly and pass.

There should be verbal questions also which will be streamed live.

I support this statement. It is true, that education is key for the country's development. For the political leaders, there should be an educational criterion or the specific educational qualification to have a contest in electronic.

Education is most important in politics.

Should educational qualifications is necessary for a sports person, singer, dancer, actor, artist ? I think the answer is Big no, but yes if that possess then it will be helpful in many ways. But Instead of education qualifications they must have good skills and experience.

If only educated person can solve and bring good governance then why in terms of corruption India is in the rank of 144th, why in everyday we are seeing lots of officers are caught of taking bribe, why? Because they don't care about the welfare of society. If only educated people can rule, lead then how Dhirubhai Ambani became the business tycoon of India, how bill gates became the richest person? And many more. They don't have an MBA certificate but they had achieved more than an IIM, IITian can achieve.

You may have seen that son of some IAS officers are became a goon and son of a rickshaw driver /laborers son also cleared IAS exam.

So instead of educational qualifications they should be a good leader, motivator, ground to the earth and last but not the least they should be aware of the problem of people, some general knowledge and social worker. But in addition to that if they are educated then it is like "icing on the cake".

I think that the person who has good skills capability of leading the country he/she can do. Education is not compulsory.

Hello guys after watching your opinions I reached on a conclusion that you all are agreeing that there should be minimum educational qualification for political leaders but I think it should not because you all know very well that how easy it is to get any educational degree and for political leaders specially it is the most easiest work so what we need is that they should have all qualities of a leader in them rather than any fake educational degree :: THANK YOU FOR READING THIS and HAVE A NICE DAY.

In my point of view, it is important for a person to be educated if he or she is contesting in election. Because if he or she gets elected as a representative for the people then he or she should have a proper idea of what should be done for the well being of his area. If he or she is uneducated then it may lead to the destruction of the area because an uneducated person can make some decisions but not all the necessary decisions.

So it is very important for politicians to be well educated.

At present, maximum all politicians are low educated or not educated and very less knowledge and also have more criminal/civil cases, rowdies. So that is why our country is not developing.

So, It is best to change rules. In my opinion there should be a minimum qualification like IAS / IPS for the Prime Minister, Central Ministers, Chief Ministers and Cabinet/State Ministers and there should be a written exam and interview before contesting elections so the talented ones will be eligible for serving people by bringing good decisions. It will make lot of transformation of the country growth.
