Education is necessary for everyone if it is common people or politician.

Think we (our country) are here when most of our politician are not so qualified, it will certainly help the country to get developed when we elect well-educated people because many leadership qualities are gained through education.

Yes, I agree, educational qualification made necessary for politicians.

We have been saying that India is a developing country from so many years. Still, India is developing.

When can we see India has developed the country as other countries? The rule should be made towards politicians.

If they won't become like a politician they must have the minimum knowledge to develop our country.

One thing that really doesn't like we need to salute to uneducated persons who are in the politics, even IAS and IPS also need to salute. Some of the people don't know as a politician what he has to do. They need suggestions from IAS etc which we can really appreciate those who are in the IAS positions.

Let them give chance to lead our India who qualified civil services. He/ She can take good decisions at right, right decisions.

At present, maximum all politicians are low educated or not educated and very less knowledge and also have more criminal/civil cases, rowdies. So that is why our country is not developing.

So, It is best to change rules. In my opinion there should be a minimum qualification like IAS / IPS for the Prime Minister, Central Ministers, Chief Ministers and Cabinet/State Ministers and there should be a written exam and interview before contesting elections so the talented ones will be eligible for serving people by bringing good decisions. It will make lot of transformation of the country growth.

At independence time, we have good politicians. But the present, maximum all politicians are low educated and very less knowledge also have more cases, rowdies. So thats why our country not develop.

So, this is the right time to change rules. My opinion is make the must and should qualification is IAS for the Prime Minister, central Ministers, Cheif Ministers and state Ministers. Make the change. Already this rule is following the well developed countries.

So, all educated guys please think once.

Almost for every post in our country, educational qualification of a person is seen. So why not for politicians! Politicians are the ones who form the government and run a country. For this, they need to understand how an economy functions and runs. These knowledge can be better acquired through education. So what I mean is, there should be certain minimum educational requirements for becoming a politician. Undoubtedly, there are a number of people in politics who have performed very well and improved country's economic condition. But such persons had some highly qualified people in their cabinet or party whose advice they seek for taking any decision.

In my perspective, in our country, the government is divided into gram Panchayat, block panchayat, District panchayat Municipality, corporations, state government, central government. This includes members, Councillors, MLA's, MP'S, state ministers, Union cabinet minister, chief minister, prime minister & president. I think there is a required of education qualifications according to post.

For example; members - Tenth or plus two, Councillors = plus two /degree, MLA = degree etc.

Higher education is not that important for Politicians as the best example for this is of G. T Deve Gowda, higher education minister of Karnataka who has just passed 8th but is handling his portfolio quite effectively and he has been trying to bring in new reforms in higher education though he does not have any degree/graduation. The burning desire to serve people is more important than higher education for the politicians.

In my perspective, there should not be any mandatory educational qualifications in politics. If we talk about history of Indian politics. In 1947 the literacy rate of India was merely 12% so by making it mandatory the most valuable peaople could be discrimaneted at that time.

From my point of view,

The education is not mandatory for politicians because nowadays as many of you said that they should have known about our issue and further many of you said that only educated people can do this. But in over country, they know how to handle any situation but the only thing is they are Corrupted and if educated people take sit of him than it's not mandatory that they will be not corrupted so that we have to take necessary steps towards them so that they can't be corrupted.
