Qualification can be purchased. One thing is absolutely necessary for politicians. They should sit openly in media and public and answer questions put to them. There should be justification for each action and the word he or she does.

Politicians should have a curriculum of science, social science, and arts.

They should give exams openly and pass.

There should be verbal questions also which will be streamed live.

Necessary condition apart from being knowledgeable is to have the passion for serving the nation and practical application of the same.

A politician represents the nation and thus he should be a wearing the coat of knowledge along with personality.

Education is the most important parameter for the overall growth of the country and when we talk about the personnel who administrate the country, education is prior.

My opinion is that every politician needs a minimum degree qualification. Because they ruled our country. In India, many of politicians don't have a minimum qualification even if they are not completing their matriculation.

But they did some acts in parliament And legislation without any knowledge. I think from the village level to the parliament level politicians need a qualification based on their designation.

I think a man without education is an incomplete man.

And for a leader, it is too dangerous as he/she would be confused to choose between right and wrong.

There is a proverb that, "HALF KNOWLEDGE IS DANGEROUS", then a imagine a man without any knowledge.

He could fall into bad deeds and mislead the people and also get corrupt.

Hence, I feel that at least minimum education is necessary for politicians.

Hi, yes we all agree that minimum education qualification is needed for the politician but at the same time, we must keep in mind that education qualification is not the only way to solve the problem of our political system. As we all see that big crime is always done by the well-educated man.

So the first politician should have nature of sacrifice for the welfare of other and he should be a good leader.

Hi everyone,

According to me, a politician should have a minimum qualification so that they can differentiate between what is wrong and what is right. Nowadays we need politicians who can understand what people of India want and what are their responsibility towards them. Being the representative of thousand of people, they should be one on whom people can look upon, who can resolve their problems.

Yes, Educational qualification is a must for the politician. Especially, It would be great if they have sound knowledge in their field of service (ie, finance, Technology etc). Which help them to serve better, more efficient, effective communication, Global knowledge, exposure.

Yes, India has the history of the great politician with the least educational background, but again percentage is less.

Hii guys!

In my view, educational qualification should not be criteria to elect representative because an illiterate person has the ground experience which educated ones don't have it. Putting educational criteria will be like santching person's chapati from his mouth, knownig that he has the right to eat that same is with it also, santching the rights from the citizens won't solve the problem.

Hello everyone,

I consider education is must to contest in an election because education will provide a clarity to understand our system. It helps us to pin point exactly the flaw in our system and gives a remedy to improve the society. Moreover, education is the prime factor to understand ethics, morality, innovation etc. Widespread of knowledge will, in turn, be cause for better democracy.
