Educational qualification for Politicians

I think it is not mandatory to education for a politician because we know though we have 74% literacy rate what about remaining 26%?

OUR country is democratic and as every person has right to vote just like that every politician must have right to participate in an election. Though if a person is not educated but he can work on his ethics recent example Anna Hazare who has passed his 7th but still working excellent but Mr Kajeraval who has been ex irs isnt well compare to annji so education doesn't matter but ethics and working abilities matters.

So education should not be mandatory for a politician because it is their story right.

One of the reason why India is lacking in growth and progress is because of uneducated politicians. Rules must be made to fulfil the basic primary, secondary and also graduation to enter into politics. Also, there should be an examination on the basis which politicians must be selected.

I think politicians should at least complete graduation because politicians are the decision maker of our country.

Education is necessary for everyone if it is common people or politician.

Think we (our country) are here when most of our politician are not so qualified, it will certainly help the country to get developed when we elect well-educated people because many leadership qualities are gained through education.

They have the knowledge of current affairs also the history, economics, politics, etc. Nowadays education is an important factor of life and our politicians also have their qualifications in their field area.

In my opinion, Politician who is uneducated in India are not eligible to rule the people, this nation has so many tests, practice for many government fields like IAS, doing Doctor course, and even for the post of clerk in village panchayat but the politician has no exams and qualifications some of the politician are even finished schoolings also. But there are honoured by educated IAS officer and saluted by higher official in police etc. This seems like our nation is controlled like a zoo where animals are outside of the cage and humans are inside the cage.

So, our nation's politics must be evolve by inducing the politics education in school onwards as a separate subject.

As to me, it is important that in politics there is a requirement of an educational degree because if a politician is nominated in the election then it's degree helps the citizens to think about that person, is he or she works well for them.

If a politician is more educated then he or she will think more about the good or bad for the citizens.

It is misconception in the minds of youth that only educated one can do development in country. Education is not an ultimate source for gaining knowledge.

Suppose there are many people living in remote areas who had never seen schools education facilities are not available for them. So how they can represent themselves in front of government if there will be minimum education criteria. And any outsider is not able to understand their problems.

According to me, Education is not necessary for politicians.
