Capital Punishment should be Banned or Allowed?

I would like to chip in by saying that it should be abolished because as I live in India which is full of corruption and corrupted people they take undue advantage of their power and blame the innocent one. So capital punishment is like the easiest way to get rid off of stigma, especially for tycoon people. On the other hand, if I talk about rapist capital punishment is not enough maybe that why they have no fare and rape cases are increasing drastically.

Capital punishment should not be banned in India rather it should be used only in only certain cases where the criminal deserves a hard but not harsh one whereas in cases of rape, honour killing the criminal should not be hanged to death rather should be given life imprisonment where the criminal should be beaten on a daily basis where he would cry for death, but death would be given to him so that every person who thinks of raping a girl would first think of its consequences.

Hi, according to me capital punishment should be banned because people who commit inhuman crimes like rapes and acid attacks should not directly be hanged but should be first tortured to such an extent that they realize what would that girl had feet when she had undergone such a treatment.

After this inhuman behaviour they should be left in a place where no one can meet them place where they can't even get the sunlight and rarely a square meal per day. As we all know that a executioner who gives one death without much fear is not as inhuman as one makes one die every minute and second.

In the Andaman and Nicobar Islands the prisoners are subjected to solitary confinement inside the cellular jails built specially built for that purpose and have no attachment to the outer world. Therefore to conclude I would like to say that capital punishment should be banned and criminals should realize their mistakes before taking their ultimate rest.

I think that the capital punishment should be allowed because there are many criminals who commit the crimes without having fear of punishment. They also think that they have political power so they can do whatever they want that's why crime rate is very high nowadays. So, the government should take proper step to stop this criminal activity and the government can stop this by allowing capital punishment. If capital punishment is banned then criminal repeats their crime which will be very bad for our society.

What is the porpose of giving punishment to someone?

Punishment is given so that a person can realize his fault and can regret that. So of if we allow this and snatches the life of someone, the very purpose of punishment undermines somewhere. It is not a mark of civilization. I wanna let you know that violence is violence whether it is done legally or illegally. Well the most important, since life is the property of God not of a man so the exclusive right to terminate it itself lies in the will of God, not on us.

According to me, capital punishment should not be banned because it is not a dealing death with prisoners. It's not true that every prisoner is murderer, the judiciary will not take a decision fast every human being have one chance to improve their mistake so help them to change.

Introducing capital punishment is not revenge, it is the highest degree of social protection.

Let us start with the meaning of Capital punishment.

It is a punishment that involves the legal killing of a person who commits a serious crime like rape, murder, terrorism.

Let me ask you a question If a person has committed a heinous and unforgivable crime to disturb the peace in our society, shouldn't he be punished? The answer is not yes, it is absolutely.

People say that punishment is alright, though a death sentence is too much. But I disagree. Rapists and terrorists are not afraid of prison as a thief would be.

1. According to my opinion, capital punishment should not be banned because it will increase the crime rates at an alarming rate.

We already witness a lot of crime in our society. Now, imagine if rapists and Terrorists weren't punished in a disciplined manner! Our community would collapse right in front of our eyes! People would start to feel unsafe and insecure.

2. Another point is why should we go easy on a person who has attempted murder?

Shouldn't he/she be given a taste of their medicine? They deserve to be taught a lesson.

Let us consider countries like China and South Korea that have implemented Capital punishment to decrease crime rates to a minimal level.

Capital punishment won't only prevent crimes from happening now, but also in the future as the people will think multiple times before doing something that will cost them their life.

Capital punishment must never be condemned but this is to be executed in severe crimes. Likewise, rapists must be either hanged or punished on the roadside as practiced by the gov.of Saudi Arabia.

Through such a strict penalty a criminal/rapist would think thousand times before committing. But friends there is an issue, there must be a proper jurisdiction with no corruption because it often happens that an innocent is put to punishment.

I would like to say capital punishment is not needed for an hour. Because who is getting capital punishments?people who involve in crime like the killing of people, terrorism, and in some serious threats. If we do the same to the person what is the difference between them and us. Also, everyone has right to live. We are not God to take their lives. In some cases, innocent people get capital punishment instead of the right criminal. What an injustice is this. In my opinion, criminals should be given life imprisonment so that they can know the meaning of life. Also, our jail and police station infrastructure should be enhanced. So that no one would escape during imprisonment. That's all I want to say. Thank you all.

For my opinion, capital punishment should not be banned because in my point of view C.P is necessary for each and everyone how is doing the small or big crime. If we give CP to criminals once and next time other criminals will think thousand of time before going on the wrong track. I think C.P is very necessary because without C.P criminals will be fearless as we can see the best example m our country, there are few cases we listen to give C.P of culprits. So they think they will go in cell and again out and start doing the same thing they did before like crime. I know that some religious behavior might Chang their mind because sometimes innocent get killed instead of crisps.
