Capital Punishment should be Banned or Allowed?

Capital punishment should be there or not. It should be decided by voting by public through by FREE SMS so that all public should vote. Any political party if gives assurance that they will implement punishment of hanging for all personnel involved in murder/rape or gang rape without consent/kidnapping for sexual assault/for brothel/extortion/bank robbery/anti national cases directly or indirectly will come to power with majority without any alliance.

A Court deciding capital punishment should be reviewed by a bench of 3 judges (whose names should not disclosed to media) of higher Court on getting appeal within 3 months of judgement given by lower Court.

But a person killing a person who killed his own family members should not be given capital punishment though he should not take law in his hands. Learned judges should take in to consideration all pros & cons of the cases before giving his final verdict.

No mercy petitions to president should be allowed or if allowed it should be decided within a week. Then only the strength of criminals will be reduced and actual capacity of Tihar will be maintained. People supporting no capital punishments should think nowadays jails becomes university of technology for criminals to learn new techniques.

Even a single criminal will not change if goes to jail for major crimes. Rape could be averted if old system of child marriage is comes again with fixing minimum age by the Doctors and also by banning of Horoscope matching system so that people get marry in time. This is my personal opinion, may be a public opinion.

I want to say that, fear is a things which make everyone follow the rule and regulation of any country. If one has done a crime and is subjected to capital punishment, then he has too pay for what he has done.

Excusing any person will in some way boost the crime. In modern era when people are more materialistic and are not interested in spiritual studies, are losing all sense of what to do and what not to do. Thy don't have any clear goal of life. That's they do what they think is good for them.

So Government should help bonafide spiritual leaders to educate people in mass about spirituality and to act in harmonizing way in nature.

Only giving capital punishment and not taking any realistic approach to stop crimes will lead to nowhere and only increase in crime, riots etc. So please guide and take care of each and every section of this country so that they lead meaningful and happy life.

Apart from Terrorists, hired killers also should be given capital punishment. They kill unknown people just for money without any previous enmity. If these hired criminals are not given capital punishment the society will soon become barbarian.

These criminals come out on bail just in 15 days and commit more and more murders for money. They don't respect the law much. Because they have money power to influence to any level.

Everyone agrees that crime is bad and we need to stop it. This seems sensible and logical in every way, until we ask the question: Do we need the death penalty to be 'tough' on crime?

According to me Capital Punishment SHOULD be done away with because if there are death penalties, one would think for a thousand times before doing a crime. This will also help in creating a fear factor in the minds of the criminals. The terrorists and rapists should not be allowed to roam freely in the society. People like them should be publicly hanged so that everyone will come to know that violating someone else's rights cannot be tolerated in a DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY like India. I think that capital punishment should be allowed because it creates a lesson in front of the public or criminals that law is made for the public and if we abolish the law by committing the crime it would create a penalty for that person.

On the other hand it also depends upon the crime committed by the criminal. If the crime is heinous in nature like sexual harassment, honor killing you can't spare them by just giving them imprisonment, because it will just encourage others to commit the crime as they will not have the fear of death in their minds. While punishing we should think about the innocent public in general instead of the criminal who did the scandalous crime. Abolishing death penalties will be injustice to the victims who suffered from the heinous acts of the criminals. Death penalty acts as a fear factor to many people who could have turned into a criminal and it is very important in a country like India.

Capital punishment should not be banned as the prison may think that even though he is caught and is given lifetime imprisonment he can fill his stomach sitting in the jail. But can any type of imprisonment repair the irreparable loss of loosing a life of a person? At least capital punishment creates a fear among the criminals that they may have pay their own life for taking someone else life.

I think capital punishment should not be banned because it is deterrent which prevents a person to do the crime. And due to the fear of death they won't do this crime again as the jails are overcrowded the capital punishment should be given. Let 100 guilty go Scott-free, let not an innocent be hanged. As we have a human rights the victims also have the climatology. So timely justice is required. It is given at the rarest of the rare cases.

My opinion is that capital-punishment should not be banned because in today's date criminal cases are increasing day by day though the presence of capital punishment. If it is banned then the criminals in our country will roam freely thinking that whatever they will do, they will be not punished and the criminal cases will also get increased at a high rate.

So it's better that the capital punishment is not banned because still there are many people in our country who get feared of this punishment and think twice before doing it.

The state of our country will never improve if no strict action is taken against the criminals. Merely jailing the criminals is not enough they need to be hanged or tortured or they will never understand how their victims felt especially women.

A/C to me I think that a rapist shouldn't be hanged because in our constitution every man have the right to live his life. If one should be hanged in the rape case we must have to find that what's the condition in doing that he may be illiterate or he was provoked by others to do that and every one get the chance to improve himself.

I think capital punishment is essential in India, in this modern day there are more crime and criminal, I agree there hundreds of nation which has removed death penalty. But there condition is not too similar with India, and country like United states, China, Pakistan do have capital punishment. So why should we abolish death penalty?
