Capital punishment is in human. It is a law of jungle. If man calls him civilised, why should we follow the law of jungle? There are other punishments good enough to meet the end of justice. Why not content a life sentence? In fact, it will be more effective because life sentence is example for others. No doubt, a strong case can be made for life imprisonment which gives a man a chance to repent himself. Only one life may ostensibly be taken by capital punishment but economically, socially, psychologically, and morally the lives of entire family are seriously effected. By the way, what has capital punishment done for us so far by way of eliminating murder? A person should be given chance to repent his deeds. No doubt, it causes some extra expense but it better results.

So, Ladies and Gentlemen capital punishment should be abolished.

The Capital punishment is the punishment which grows fear in the mind of a criminal and the person who tends to do criminal. Criminal does not direct capital punishment for petty things like dacoit. It is given by the court after a proper judgement. If instead if capital punishment if they would be given life imprisonment there will be fear in the mind of security that they can go anywhere from the jail.

I think that capital punishment should be abolished. Capital punishment is an easy way to rid out of the punishment for the crime they (criminals) did. Life imprisonment is the best method for those cruel criminals.

I think capital punishment should not be banned and those who do this heinous crime should deserve capital punishment. If we want to protect the citizens from these crimes engulfing in the society we have to take a step and give severe punishment or even death penalty for rape and murder. There must be some fear in the minds of the criminals which can be there if the system gives severe punishment for the crimes they do.

Capital punishment should not be banned in India but it should be more specified and more descriptive so that any innocent person not get punished by this as per my opinion CP should be more worst than hanging people because it is easiest way of dead and terrorist who kills thousands of people and by taking only one life of him or her is not Justice to all those who are killed by them.

Hi dears, I want to share a point about CP.

In my point of view CP shouldn't be banned specially in rape case. At first our government should make a sticks low for rapist, if it clears that he is rapist. On that time our law and order punished him.

According to me, capital punishment should be given to the culprit, if our government will not give cp to the culprit. Some time after they will come out of jail, and they will try again to crime. If our government will capital punishment to the culprit, they can't try again to crime, and there related will not make any criminal in his family!.

I don't think that the persons who commit such crimes are human beings. So I don't the should have any human rights. Death penalty should never be abolished because abolishing of death penalty will create an thinking of injustice for the victims of the crime.

But whomever it is given there should be an proper evidence of the crime.
