It is a good idea and that main aim of these procedures is make an India as a corruption free country and also black money but it is not affected the corrupted people it's fully impacted on common people's and no minister is suffering from this idea normal people are suffering because only normal people stand on the road and collected money in the bank with that so much of struggles but any politician or any rich people not stood on the road and also in the banks how they get money and says all Indians are same where is that and my opinion is India failed in this demonstration it's all affected on the normal people's it's not working on the politicians and rich peoples.

The aim of demonetization was to drag out all the black money reserves maintained by rich class. And this decision showed positive results to a great extend. This proved to be a powerful step but not a great one. There are several reasons to it. First of all, our poor class suffered a lot. Exchanging their small cash savings by standing in queues and lack of new currency notes was a backfire. There were also few instances where rich uses poor for exchange of money by offering a small amount of commission. Last but not the least, our people are in habit of making black money deposits and this has continued even after demonetization.

I do want to support demonetization on regular basis but pre-steps should be taken for our poor class so that other may not get benefit out of it.

Demonetization is a good step. I know low class and middle-class people suffered allot. But after this step, lots of money is gathered in the account. And properly taxes are paid to the government. That money is also used in the development of our country. We have to accept this change for our better condition and our nation too.

The answer to this question is Yes and No!

Yes, corruption has been controlled but No it has not been uprooted completely.

Corruption can not be uprooted by merely one or two steps because it's deeply embedded in our system but yes it can be curtailed to sone extent. Demonetization has at least pulled the people to the banks and by that I mean more number of digital transaction. It was a quite a warning signal for the cash-rich society of India who was forced to throw bags full of notes on road. But those who had brains with money managed to deport cash either to the Swiss bank or through some under the table management. In short corruption continues to exist in one or the other way but the proportion in which it was increasing has declined.

Hello All.

Banning 500 and 1000 Rupees Note over a night is really a stupid thing, PM and other top millionaires and billionaires were already knows about it all the other people like us suffered a lot problems and anyway black money will never be going to be demolished even though they release new currency notes surely there will be a black money for that currency also its a useless thing which government had ever done it before.

Hello everyone,

Demonetization is the great act taken by the Modi government to eliminate black money or corruption in India.

But it has failed to get back black money. Indeed it offers the corrupted people to convert black money into white money. Rbi announced that 99 percent of the money is got back. But there is no improvement in India economy.

Even because of this thing common people and bank employees are suffered by wasting their time in the ATM's and spending extra time in banks respectively.

Hi,

Demonetisation of 500 and1000 rupee notes is one of the major economic reform announced by our govt this year. This is done paramount to the rise in the flow of black money thereby destroying Indian economy. This is a great decision but it failed in its implementation. The failure happened in its implementation makes Indians suffer more especially the common people. The sudden announcement and the short span allowed for exchanging the demonetised notes make a large queue in front of banks and atm, make the life of common man miserable. The govt aimed at the black money giants, but they handled the situation without making any harm for them.

In fact, the everyone claiming that demonetisation is a failure, govt argues it could bring out some of the black money. The another drawback happened is we all know India is a country with a many illiterate people they were ignorant about this demonetisation and they got trapped and even some others make use of them. So in my opinion demonetisation could not bring out whole the black money or couldn't uproot corruption but this reform makes them changing their strategies in corruption.

Demonetization means banning of 500 and 1000 rupee notes by the Modi government. This bold step was taken by the government On 8 nov 2016. I would like to say that if a govt does nothing to uproot corruption, we blame that kind of govt but if this govt has taken some brave steps which were not attempted by any govt since the last so many years, we are still criticising the government So no matter what, we will always criticize the govt.

Demonetization was done with a view to reduce black money and increase tax flows to the economy. I agree that it could have been implemented in a better manner but it has been a good start. We might have faced problems like standing in queues for the exchange of old currency notes but I believe these are short term. The benefits to the economy are long term. People nevertheless always find ways like giving bribes etc. But I feel it has reduced corruption to an extent by increasing digital payments.

Hi friends.

In my point view, the ban of 500, 1000 is corruption uprooted because past 2 decades we had never been thought about of ban the notes. But as the BJP came on power on 2014 the country value changed totally. Anywhere we are talking about ban of notes (8 Nov 2016) is very good as the all corrupted rooted out and main thing is that every state or cities going cashless because of demonitisation and now annual report had been published about cashless states or cities which teachs them to go cashless or uncorrupting nation. It's very good idea of NDA government of India. We knew that we had lost many life in queue but it's not affected the country because India is self sacrifice nation to do good for own country.

Hi guys,

In my point of view, demonetization has a postive as well as some negative aspects.

Plus point of demonetization is that is has stopped fundings to terrorist agencies and also stopped corruption and black money to a larger extent. Its disadvantages are that enough time was given by our government To public to convert their black money into white as there was no curb on buying of gold etc. People had to suffer in long queues in front of bank and many bank employees died due to overburden.

It was a good initiative by the govt but was not completely successful.
