According to my point of view, Yes, the Digital payments are Secure for the Indian economy to go cashless. Why because the cash payments will be unfortunately missed or thieves may pick. Even though digital payments also having some problems are there. Hackers are hacking their Account and then picking the money from their account. If may some rural people don't aware of unwanted phone calls, He/She will attend the phone call and say PIN, CVV, Card Number, OTP and etc. It will helpful for hackers. So the digital payments are also Not secure.

Hi Everyone,

According to me, digital payments are convenient for us. It has reduced the worry to carry cash all around we go. If we do the transaction online then there is good chance to keep a record of our economy. However, It has troubled people of villages and those who think they are not able to adapt to the technology. We have also come across some of the villages also where the payment method has been completely shifted to online payments. Thus I would like to say it's not impossible If people are trained properly and if they really will learn we can go cashless.

There are certain cases where we have witnessed the failure of online payments, forgery but these all will resolve with time as development is a continual process. We find loopholes and we correct that is how we develop. We should support the system, find loopholes to correct them.

Digital payments are easy for our economy due to the increased robbery all around the nation. A robust technology for digital payments should be designed and implemented. It is easy to go cashless than going through a tedious process of counting. Although sometimes we face difficulty where some of the shops fix a rule themselves that online payments are applicable for a purchase an above 100. The rules and regulations should be formulated and a safe technology should be implemented.

According to my opinion, yes Digital payments is a secure way to stop the corruption. Whenever we use the digital payment we must get proof that we did it and against a person also. And otherwise, digital payment is also an easy method to pay. Definitely Due to digital payment graph of corruption will be down.

Thank you.

Hi all.

Talking about the digital payment system is a flagship programme of the govt of India to transform Indian into digital empowered and knowledge society faceless Paperless Cashless!

Which today is possible With the introduction of :.

Atm.
Online Banking.
Internet Banking.
Mobile wallets.
Point of sale.

Not just the introduction but the government did take enough measures to make sure there is Cybersecurity to ensure the safety:

Cert to secure mobile banking.
Rbi eases 2step card validation for transactions less than 2k.
Technical audit of prepaid payments.

However India being a developing nation can't go 100% cashless for which awareness forms a major part: Digishala, Digital Finance for Rural India, Vittiya Sakshtra Abhiyan and also the Indian Railways to install 10k Pos.

Along with that, there are a number of policies and implementation initiatives taken for procurement, service offering and disbursement of Digital Payments.

Excise duty for Pos and manufacturing of POS.

Promoting the same through Debit card Credit card, mobile application and e-wallet.

Indian Oil, HPCL is offering an upfront discount of '5 for refilling and booking online Bharat Interface for money.

Meity (Ministry of Electronics And Information Technology) is making the best of efforts to get our economy into a cashless economy, however, the spread of education one day we will achieve it.

At the time when the people are excited or furious to embracing the digital payments mode. Qualcomm brings some bad news that wallets and mobile banking app are not using hardware-level security that is mandatory for secure online transactions. At the crucial time when people are relying on the digital payments that nature of news is sending panic strokes across the country if not addressed soon.

YES, we can use digital payments method if we follow some instructions, some little guideline makes ease to protect and secure the online transactions. We should keep upgrading our banking applications when the update is available. New measures-Qualcomm is approaching some digital payment companies to make a secure payment he is making mobile chipset which will verify the user with a payment gateway that feature will make hard to hack and bring glitch.

The answer can become NO if we ignore some mandatory points like.

1) Qualcomm report.

2) Hackers everywhere-it is not long back when hackers disturbed the ATM money people lost their money.

3) Falling into traps-according to report people of India are more prone to tramps of phishing and hacking because web given in the web are not always secure.

4) Helping is not help pm said that every person should teach at least 10 people to use of digital payment mode but in the matter of money, no one will want to peer in their password and security.

5) another reason is lack of security standards prescribed by RBI in e-wallets.

NO, we are not ready for cashless but we are on the way. IT still need some more improvements.

Hi, the digital payment is good for the country and it progresses the country but all have the people are not aware of the digital payment so it's responsibility to all young students to teach everyone how to use the online payments. All the thing have two things one Postive and negative so if you are using the digital payment so it's drawback also but it's good points it's you have your money deposit safely in the banks so it when digital payment does not have so it very risky to all the people to Thief. I think the digital payment it's good for the country and its help to progress the country. Thanks.

Yes, I absolutely think that going cashless is secure. Because of it more of the traditional money transaction which are hidden from Govt have came into eye of Government So anyone trying to fraud can easily be captured. Along with these, digital payments have saved the time. People can transfer money easily on one click. They do not have to go through long process. Just a click on [phone and you are done. Also, it is better because we do not have to carry money all the time. You have a mobile phone and thus you have money.
