Hello friends.
I think this policy can be implemented in India because people are eager to learn new technology & new way of doing payment whether they are youth or senior citizen. After demonetization in hotels & restaurants people started using the mobile application like paytm even I didn't use paytm app before that but now I flexible with it in making transaction.
The Government announced a scheme that now people can payment with their Aadhar card so it will also reduce the risk of cyber crime. But as you can see that the device is not available to each & every shopkeeper so how we gonna the payment if it is available we will definitely going to use that. Government got a lot of homework to do regarding in this matter & after that India will definitely become a cashless country.

Yes, I agree to the fact that, digital payment will reduce the correction and terrorism and also by this the incidents like pickpocketing, ATM robbery also can be considerably reduced. Moreover, the govt of India have taken a number of initiatives to promote digital payments like lottery prize for lucky online transaction and reduction of tax in online payments and much more. So being a citizen of India it is our duty to support digitisation and help the Indian economy to grow high.

Yes, of course, it's A good step towards corruption. But as we all know it's not easy for our country to go cashless right now because of less literacy in India. To improve this step we need to first educate people about the digital money transaction. Also, we need a forward step in education field of view. Smart classes should be in every school from starting of school so that future is completely digital. Only govt can't do this we need to help them.
It's a nice step and should execute as soon as our people become literate.

Yes, digital payment is really a good step taken by Modi's government, though there are many Indians that don't know how to use an internet properly but through this digitalisation step Indian people are trying to learn this internet usage & only the problem is to increase more cyber security to prevent information from hacking.

Yes, they are secure for the Indian economy to go cashless. But it will not suit for the poor people since they cannot have their atm cards with them and also the middle-class people will get upset when they swipe often their atm cards for a single cup of tea.

Taking an example of developed countries they did all the transactions through online. That helps a lot transparency in their economy. But in India for digital payments, we have to ensure our security measures like China hacked most of the bank's debit card.

According to my opinion, I don't think that digital payments are secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless as 70% of India population are from rural area where internet facility is not upto the mark. Even 80% people are not aware of internet banking, they do not know how to use it. Before introducing digital payments government should take steps to provide education and free campaign to the people regarding digital payments so that they can make optimum utilization of it.

Digital payment is good but if it is about Indian economy then gov has to advance the security level of payment as we know that lots of cases of hacking & fraud. So, for now, it is not safe but ya in future it will be possible. As we know that gov has already started a channel on television which inform the people that how to do cashless transactions.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Helo everyone!
According to my point of view, digital payments are secure enough this days if it's a recognised organisation and trusted too. We should not trust any organisation. As we all know India wants too be developed country at an instant urge, so to have a developed country we should be now technology seeker inspite of any excuse. Literating about digital payment is tough but not an imposible task, it can be organised in every sector for rular areas. And we should show eveybody that digital payment is safe and a posible issue which can be done and even executed in right and positive ways.

Hello All,
Personally, I feel India is not yet ready to go cashless at this stage, although that would be an ideal target/goal 20 years down the line. I say this because 70% of Indian population out of 1.36 billion lives in the rural areas where there are no / less internet connectivity and awareness on the use of Internet and related facilities. There needs to be effective Government plans and initiatives to enlighten people with the use of digital payments.
Also, using the payment giants like Paytm, Billdesk etc. Calls for the use of smartphones with good internet connectivity - something that is far fetched for the rural people.
