As pert my opinion, INDIA is not developed to impose a cashless economy. We just thinking about city, but still, more than 60% don't know how to use a debit card (even some peoples in city) and many villages not even provided electricity connection till date. Without considering rural peoples speaking about the cashless economy is wast.

First of all, India does not have internet connectivity or the right speed of the internet which drives the digital payment gateway. So, in India, digital payment gateway uses only urban area which is very limited. Then, if someones have a smartphone but he did not know that how to digital payment or something use it. In India, approx 60% of people did not know that atm pin is not shareable things so bank fraud via the internet happens. To secure digital payment and to enlarge its range at first need to learn how to use it. In my opinion, even now digital payment is not secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless.

DIGITAL PAYMENT SECURE INDIAN PEOPLE TO GO CASHLESS BUT first of all we have to remove problem which is already faces our people's (current, water, education, corruption etc. ) and government should give some training to all people and they know about how to use because of this will give so many benefits to India like our GDP also increase and you have to take loan easily and so many things.

According to me, I can say it's not enough for the Indian citizen because here it will be very city to city as example Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai ect metro cities can manage to a digital payment that can be cashless economy for the city because as we Indian our backbone is agriculture. So our farmers lived in rural areas till the time our farmer not able to get water on time and some time network issue and almost our farmers are not fully educated so it may difficult for them to do transactions its. And for digital payment need android mobile our rural areas people not affordable for everyone. There is lots of problems in India.

Hello Everyone, In my opinion, the digital payment are not good for the Indian economy because most of the rural area do not know about the digital payments and in the rural area always there is a always a network problem and in the digital payments network problem is a very big problem and.
In most of rural area many of the people do not have a bank account.
If we talk about young generation then we easily go to a site like if we want to book train ticket then we go to the IRCTC site and securely book the ticket but if we talk about old generation then he goes to any site and wants to book the ticket which may compromise the data.
So, according to me, digital payments is not secure right now for the Indian economy.

I think digital payments are not secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless because there is a lot of issues mostly in the rural area where most of the people still struggling with network issues, there is lack of awareness about digital platforms, lack of information how to use them securely, how to avoid fishing mails, links, etc. Even in some of the area, people don't have a bank account.

Hello everyone.
I think digital payments are not secure because nowadays hackers play a key role in online networking besides this in rural areas people are not aware of this digital payment and no smartphones at all. But there are some advantages of digital payment like there is no issue of fake money.

Hello everyone, my name is Mandy.
We are using digital payments for a variety of things like paying electric bills, paying EMI's, purchasing from online sites. If we make payments in big platforms like Amazon, Paytm, airtel, then we don't have to worry because those sites and interfaces are very secure and there is customer support available if anything bad happens during a transaction. But small sites are not that secure. The older generation lacks knowledge of making secure transactions. For example when the younger generation wants to book tickets then they will go to sites like Paytm, or Redbus, but when the older generation try to book the tickets they will type bus operators in the google and they will go into any random site which may compromise the data.

From my point of view, I think India is presently not ready to deal with digital payment and make the country cashless. Still, most of the people have strongly believed in a cash transaction. For example, if we want to pay any amount in metropolitan and cosmopolitan cities like Delhi, Chennai etc in India through digital payment that is acceptable I mean we can easily pay through digital mode. But on the other hand, if we go to the rural area in north and south states than we will face the problem. Especially if I am taking the example of a rural area in Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. There are no changes in their thinking towards digital payment it may be because of lack of awareness, lack of infrastructure, digital communication and other digitalization. If we are talking with respect to economy dan the main reason is -most of the people depend upon primary economy i.e. Agriculture and they have strong faith upon cash payment because lack of education they don't know how to operate the digital mode.
And technology is still developing to make it more secure that's why I think digital payments are secure to go Indian economy cashless.
