Yes, we can say it is safe to do online transactions for Indian economy but not fully because till now our Indian cyber cell security is not strong enough. And also in India, peoples are not so much aware of online transactions. Because of increasing population of India day by day unemployment is also being increased and this is also a big increasing problem in India. Peoples with high qualifications like engineering, graduation are becoming unemployed, they do not get a job because of high competition and less opportunity. So, to earn money they use their mind in negative ways, they fraud people, they make peoples idoit to get their passwords and necessary information related to their ATM card. And in India till now peoples are not so much smart to understand these fraud activities. It is also very necessary for a country to do cashless transactions and also motivate their country people to go cashless because it will lead to the development of the nation.

Finally, I would like to say that at some level India is developed enough to go for cashless but till now we are not so much strong enough means our cybersecurity to stop all such fraud activities and it will take some to become smart enough for us to understand and save ourselves from fraud activities.

THANKYOU.

Hello guys,

According to me, digital payments are good. We have lots of benefits from digitalisation. By doing online payments we can save time, we need not to be stand in line for hours like this there are so many benefits. But as per our topic is mainly concern with the security. Are they secure? Obviously not, they are not secure nowadays. All the people who make digital payments are not aware about the cyber crimes. Very few peoples knows about the cyber crimes, cyber security and all. So our government firsy need to be focus on awareness about cyber crimes. Cyber security should be increased then we can go with digital payments.

Hello everyone!

In my opinion, digital payments are good enough to make the big plan of our gov. "Digital India" successful because we know that nowadays gov. Is focusing on making the India digital or cashless.

Nowadays a very popular buzz word "cryptocurrency" is spreading in the market, which is providing a very feasible solution to make our India smart, as there is no central authority is needed in this type of transaction, and that is the thing what we were expecting from the government from many years. So I think that it would become a drastic change which has been implemented by gov. Named digital payments and it will lead our India so far so India can stand at the top of the list 'smart countries'.

The only problem with this sort of system is that "security", because might there be chances that somebody can hack our online data, and yes it is a big problem, but our engineers are doing really very hard work to solve this problem, and if the second major concern is illiteracy then I can say if gov. Will implement this digital payment system on the big scale then everyone will come to know the importance and advantage of this technology, and they will adapt it.

Thank you.

Hello Friends.

According to me, digital payments are good enough for the Indian economy to go cashless. It is very easier to use, it saves time. There is no need to stand in line for hours. Just one click and its done. You will get some great offers and cash back. So this gives you a great deal.

But when security is concerned I don't think this is secure enough until and unless peoples are aware and educated about the digitalization. I have seen many peoples who have been fooled by some fake bank callers due to illiteracy especially the peoples of rural areas.

And govt should pay attention to the increase the level of cybersecurity because with digitalization hackers are also rising.

We can't directly go into cashless state we need something that hold our wallet. So we are discussing here the facts right? we are talking about safe use and cyber security but I think people who use cashless idea are that much educated but what about the people who are not able to understand this system. People still do not trust online payments. We don't need to improvise in cyber security we need to improvise in explaining. People should be knowing that what is exactly Digital India means. What is digitalisation?

We can't just ask people to take the road they don't trust.

We need to make sure that people are understanding Digital India.

First step should be explaining people about Digital India. Through campaigns may be.

Digitalisation is governments main aim to transform India into new digital world in which everyone will access through internet for payments and other activities, this cashless economy has broader advantages like fast payment, high security, no theft unless and until each and every person of India is literate enough to access internet and able to afford it, for this gov should focus more on education at low rate. After every person can access the internet there also a threat of stealing data and money by cyber attacks for this gov must improve cybersecurity cell to defend safe and secure online transfers. Every person in can't use digital payments in daily routine so initially, gov must focus on "less cash" rather than "cashless".

First of all, cashless sounds easier to handle to cash anywhere in the country or anywhere in the world. But some hurdles are making it confusing among the people because we prefer cash in hand more than in virtual wallet. Almost 80 percent peoples inccludes farmers, labours, basuc phone users these are not knowing about how to use internet, mobile so its not to easy to make them instantly use mobile phone to transact due lack of knowledge so we must teach them how to use and give trust that your money is safe and if any problems come to him during transaction where the contact and solve their issue and how to secure digital tranction so in these days cyber fraud is going increasing like sms froud, coupon lottery froud and stole customer information so people's must know these type of information and govt must take some action against it.

Digital payment is good initiative but not secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless because some point money is compulsory. I agree with all my friend using digital payment zero corruption, essay to pay anywhere and safe.

Yes, digital payment makes cashless India but secure because some uneducated people don't know about how to use digital payment.

And some people not secure for payment details for a pin number and card number. The unkown person asking a question like a bank staff through a phone call, mail and some other way they said detail and this is important point thank you.

Yeah, of course, digital payments secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless but certain things should be applied first, for example, the government make certain efforts to create awareness among lower caste people like farmers, labours.

Digital payments are secure because of the One Time Password encryption but the problem is that with the increase in the digital payments, the cybercrime will also increase so the government should also have a look at it. And many Indian farmers and labours don't have smartphones till now so that government should also think about it that how will they manage to go cashless.
