According to me, the very first question is not that whether the digital payment is secure enough or not but it is that how much population is still aware of it. In a country like India where 65%-70% of population is still lives in rural areas then it becomes very important for the government to first aware them and offcourse should take initiatives to make digital payment more secure in a way to make aware the people who don't have much knowledge about it.

Yes,

It's obvious that digital payment will make India as a cashless country.

Before taking any big step or decisions there always hurdles in the path but it doesn't mean we should change the path. Same applies to making India as digital India.

Going for cashless we not only save time but also makes India as a step towards a developed nation.

We can be hacking and online transaction is not secure then why to go for cashless but we can have a remedy.

Over this kind of problems. 60% of our population is rural firstly they should make aware about this kind of facility then the only nation can go in a positive direction.

I have used Bhim app developed government which gives a guarantee of safety transaction and online billing.

To make India as cashless India we have to start from ourselves.

Let make a change.

Nowadays countries GDP going down, demonetization but other things is that time people go for cashless but, when cash option is open general people, as well as govt institutions, also goes for cash. Cause people don't like to go cashless.

And we read every day about hacker hack someone's accounts and theft so and so many. Our transaction security is not enough as per required. People are scared to go cashless. Due to low internet connectivity and sometimes online payment is done and maybe go wrong.

Most and foremost things is our countries 80%people are working in the unorganized sector so they received their wage in cash so definitely they go through cash and even half of the people are don't know about cashless, and many are illiterate so they don't know how to use the internet. So in short due to lack security and awareness, India is not ready for cashless.

Considering the current situation in the country, it could not be a vulnerable situation for the digital payments. Rather than, it's a responsibility of the Indian government to provide and protect the digital payments. Government has to undergo to make the Indian economy enough strong with the digital payments so that people can have the assurety. As it is initial stage, need to be provide some benefits for these kind of payments.

Hi in my point of view the cashless transactions are not suitable for India in this current situation, but that's a good action taken by our government, we all have the responsibility to implement this cashless way, but before that the education system must be standardized one in our country because till some uneducated peoples from rural areas doesn't know about how to use ATMs, so we must give the proper training for that.

So I conclude that the digital payments are very good one but that's not a correct time.

Hello everybody! everyone have their different opinions towards this cashless economy, like it's safe or not, how illiterate people deal with this cashless criteria, etc. But before saying all these things first of all we have to focus on the economic conditions of the poorer of our country, in India there are so many peoples live who don't even have enough food to feed them or their family so, how can they afford such expensive gadgets for every member of their family to do online payments, in my opinion this is the biggest issue against the cashless economy.

Good morning to one and all, according to my point of view, digital payments are very well because of the transactions are to be in very fast and most efficiently. It will also reduce the black money which is very helpful for our economy. Most probably our future going to be digitization and all are must be familiar with this scope. From cashless transaction we need not carry the cash so that there is no need of wary for the loss of money due to the theft. From overall point of view there is a more number of befits are there for the digital payments. Thank you.

In my point of view, digital payment is secure for the Indian economy in many ways it save time also from 50 rupees till large amount can be transferred easily and safely people don't have to stand in a long queue waiting for their turn whole day. Any time of the day we can make transaction its really helpful during emergency situation when urgent money is required its like carrying bank in pocket also we don't have to go through any kind of paperwork not only that its take only a few minutes to get transaction done

As everybody said every concept has pros and cons so this concept is also have both. Digital payment reduce theft, save time etc. But it is difficult to understand by the illiterate people and the interest charged for that transaction is slightly high. So my suggestion will be, the guidelines for transaction in all languages will be easier for all and reducing the interest rate will also be a good teachnique to encourage the digital payments.

Digital Payment is secure and safe mode of payment. It encourage to go paperless. Because of digital Payment no restriction on time. Any time any where we can initiate the transaction. No need to go bank for small payment. After demonetization Paytm is on high boom if you see auto rickshaw or grocery shop person also using Digital payment, reason it is very convenient. They no need to worry about keeping physical funds at the end of the day. This was just an overview. We need to promote Digital Payment specially in Rural area. We have to take initiative start campaigning to educate the population how to do digital payment.

Now coming to security part of the digital payment. There are various ways you can keep yourself safe:-.

1. Always use trusted sites only and after completion of the transaction, click on log off button never close the page directly.

2. Never use with a name or user id similar to digital payment. For example shyam@123 likewise. Always use strong password configuration that should not be easily recognizable. Use a strong password with a mix of numbers, characters. Never share the password with anybody.

3. If you are doing the transaction through mobile then always keep your app lock and also refer point no. 1.

4. Check your mobile wallet statement carefully on a regular basis.

5. Download antivirus and anti-malware. Sometimes when we download some app there can be a chance virus occur and that can fetch details from your device so in that case keep your device activate with anti-virus and anti-malware.

Below are the points that you should never do:.

1. Don't use public Wi-Fi as hackers can steal login details.

2. Don't use one password for all wallets.

3. Don't download apps from the internet always download app from play store.
