Yes, digital payment is good it can save time as well as don't need to carry Hard cash but it is not secure 100 percent because fraudster they are able to hack the account. According to me, RBI should introduce an advanced technology that fraudster they will not be able to access to the peoples account. Cyber crimes Dept should take strong action against the fraudster, they should be punished not only that they have to repay the money otherwise they will get life imprisonment. Peoples hard money should not waste.

Yes, digital payment secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless it is a one the advantage for growth in Indian economy but people from rural still not have that much knowledge about this. So in my point of view it is not applicable for India especially for people in rural.

In my opinion, digital payments are secure. Digital payments have made easier for us to go cashless. We don't have to carry money everywhere with us, so we don't have to worry about money being stolen. We can pay everywhere easily with one click and it is the most efficient and easiest mode of payment. On the other hand, the digital payment mode should be protected so that hackers and crackers do not steal our information. Morever, the people who are not aware of digital payments should be made aware of this mode of payment and how to use them. Slowly, our country will be a digital country.

Digital payment is secure but some extent only as more than 50 percent of Indian people dwell in rural India and the majority of them either " uneducated" or "educated but have no knowledge about internet".
So, the people with no knowledge or little knowledge about anything can be easily defrauded.
Therefore digital payment is secure for certain section of our society and for other for me. It is insecure.

Hi everyone,
First of all, every coin has two sides. As like cashless payment have also advantage or disadvantage, all of my friends told about the advantage and disadvantage so I think I don't need to explain it but I want to include that cashless payment is secure enough but it cannot be applied now because there are many regions in our country where people are not aware of this. But after 5 to 10 years, it can be fully implemented because after Jio plan in India, children have easy access to the internet and they came to know about how to pay by use of apps (like paytm, bhim aap, mobile App etc ) or debit card. Jio plan also kept a vital role to go cashless India. I think it should be implemented slowly. And I m happy with that gov. Already have taken steps to go cashless India. Thank you.

Yeah, definitely it is more secure than the previous transactions. Look at the back we have to carry our money with us and nowadays it is gone all through online payment or with cards. Although this happens from 'Demonitisaton' which is happened last year. But anyhow it is Insecure in the sense hackers will use to transact the amount from one account to another easily. So we will improve with our Firewalls, Encryption.
So lastly, Yes, it is very helpful to go forward for cashless in INDIA.

I think Digital currency is more secure than cash because of chances of corruption is more than if we use money in the form of notes or coins if we use cashless then all the transactions which is legal or illegal is monitored because in digital payment system each and every transactions is monitored and also your money is secured and the chance of corruption as well as stealing is less as compare to cash money system.

In my opinion, yes, they are secured enough, especially in India, as we live in a world where India has a very good reputation in s/w field. So when it comes to have any s/w or any website related to payment in India itself, logically it should be good enough, plus technology for these payments has reached to a point where it is very secured enough, although no one or no country can guarantee it to we 100 secure.
Then tracking system is very good in the digital payment system, so in case of any mishappening in any transaction, it can be tracked easily and there are a very high percentage of rolling it back in order to compensate which we don't have in case of cash is been robbed.
The digital payment system is very easy to learn and adapt and through which money will remain in banks as they keep rotating from one bank to another, but always open for further usage, which we don't have in case of hard cash.

As my point of view, yes, digital payment are secure the Indian economy to go cashless because our country is 121 crore population country so between these it is difficult to find out a corrupt candidate without cashless and if payment happens a digitally then a lot of money will accumulate in bank which will give help to needy person as well as will be helpful to boost economy. It has a so many indirectly advantage like if we go toward a cashless payment then country's economy will increase other hands our country invest a lot of money to print currency if we go cashless then also save a lot of country's wastage money to print currency and this saving money can make a powerful in defence area.

Hello to everyone.
Since the question is related only to the security of digital payments I can confidently say that they are secured enough for the Indian economy. The government is responsible enough to develop technology capable of preventing any mishaps be it any cyber-related crime. And even the private companies to hire good software engineers for developing high-security software and websites. The only thing that remains is for us to learn them and then trust these methods. Yes, there might be problems but there are solutions too and in time this would get better and better. No country in this world can guarantee a 100% secured digital transaction even if it is the most developed nation. Everyone is in the learning process and when they haven't stopped then why should we?
That's all. Thank you.
