Yes, I agree digital payments are secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless if all the government and private portals are highly secure. As we know there are many intruders which illegally hacks the sites and may transfer the cash to there accounts, so there are many chances of unethical hacking, for which government and private sectors portals need to be highly secure. If portals will be highly secure then this will be very easy and less time consuming, sitting at home one can recieve their salary, can make online payments for electricity bill, landline bill, exam fees, water tax payment, house tax payment, online purchasing, mobile recharge and many more. But there is a disadvantage as well of this digitisation, illiterate people can't operate this technology, so we need to organise such campaigns to teach them and help them to learn this new technology to go cashless.

Friends, in my view, though India has suffered from a long time due to British rule, that has made it poor and illiterate that time and a servant by mentality! We must understand this thing. Why are we stagnating by our old thought process? Friends, it is now the actual time to bring revolution in our country for betterment. Change your mentality. And it is we, who will bring this change. In old Era we people's did not know what is Internet but now they are using it. Example, my grandparents or our grandparents, so why not can they learn a cashless transaction. It is so easy and it has been found that people's are wanting to get educated but they are not getting the correct opportunity. So if awareness is spread by our government or if we ourself promote the digital cash payment system in our nearby villages and locality then this change is not that much like a reverie.

Thanks.

Hello,

In my opinion, digital payment is secure because digital payment takes strict against the corruption.

1- if we can assume for a time or moment there is only digital payment is available and we are going any.

Government office any government official demand a bribe then we can transfer money into there account.

And when our work is complete then we can file a case then there is investigation and after finding a guilty.

A strict action can be taken against them.

2-before 25year there is not available mobile now time a smiling child can use mobile them by we can not use digital payment.

3-yes we can think everyone can not use because of uneducated people but we provide a time of five years in this year we can provide a training through skill India and through skill India many people can benefit they can job and farmer and poor people and also daily wage people can get.

Hello Everyone,

Being a cashless economy is not very easy task for a developing country like India, but also it not an impossible thing. Everything is possible if we take it in the good sense. But before being into a cashless economy we should know in detail about both the sides of it. Firstly, it should be benefited by every lazyman, for that it should be made aware with every person. He/she should made aware of the advantages of being into a cashless economy. The main advantages of being into a cashless economy is safety of cash. It ensures safety of cash and every one can be tension free. Another advantage is that it is an easy process and also time saving. Besides these there are some disadvantages the main is that lack of knowledge. Everyone in India is not well educated so they are reluctant to make payments digitally. To avoid this problem the only way is to educate them.

First of all, workshops should be organised in rural areas to make people aware of the techniques to handle digital transactions, they should be taught the do's and don't like they should not share their pin, user id or any confidential essentials to unknown, they should be assisted by their children that how to use things digitally, and most importantly, they should be given the basic concept of that why cashless transactions are necessary, what is their need, so that they develop an interest and by indulging interest in them, they would be more willing to understand the process, they should know how digitalised transactions can contribute to the economy, less cash leads to development of the economy.

So in my opinion, working on grass root level will definitely contribute towards the improvement of the learning techniques of digital transactions, then it will definitely work.

Hackers everywhere: It is not long back when ATM fraudulence disturbed a lot of people who lost money and had to wait for quite a long time to get it refunded from banks. Over the last week, we saw that twitter handles of prominent leaders were hacked and abusive posts were made from it. Email databases were accessed. The biggest issue in US at the moment is also on Russian hackers accessing the system of party members and their databases. This is a scary enough tale for a nation that plans on going cashless.

Falling into traps: If latest reports of Norton Cyber Security Insights are to be believed Indians are the most prone to falling into tramps of phishing and hacking. We just don't know when to click and when to simply avoid. The ads are not always secure and we aren't supposed to clicking on things randomly but that is not known to most people who are either using digital.

I don't agree that digital payments are secure enough in India as many people doesn't know how to use cashless system ATM cards or Netbanking. They fall prey to hackers easily because they give away their private numbers etc to the hackers unknowingly that these numbers should not be given to them. Last months I have got a call from a stranger saying that "your ATM cards has been blocked and to renew it you should give the ATM number and CVV number". This is how some people manipulate others to give their private details. Those who don't know about it will fall for it and will give their private details. So people should be educated well while telling them to go cashless.

Moreover in India we don't invest in security system as other country does. Such as Panama paper has been hacked and got leaked despite having high security. So I don't think Indian cashless system is secure.

In my opinion, since many developing countries have adopted the digital payments so India is also ready to accept the challenges and encourage the digital payments to go cashless. Digital payments are being done by many people in urban areas in India. Also in rural areas people are learning the ways of digital payment. Government has taken many initiative to encourage the digital payment and make the digital payment easy for everyone. Of course there are some security issues through digital payment like account hacking, phishing and cyber threats etc. But when we use hard cash there are also risk in that like robbery or we lost somewhere in market and etc, so it all depends on us how carefully we use the ways of digital payment. Also, there are some authorities which can help us if any problem happens so we should use digital payments carefully to make Indian economy cashless.

No, digital payment made our work easily we can even pay at midnight and we can recharge a distance relative phone from our palm device. Its having few negative sides that it.

1. Less Security.
2. No Awareness for an uneducated people.

Even though there is SSL certified site which blind hackers eyes but still there is a possibility to hack our details. There is no 100% guarantee for the secure online transaction!

Secondly, there is no awareness for using this online transaction. Hacker cheats people by saying they are talking from particular bank as manager and ask their ATM card number by saying its lock like that and also cheating by sending OTP as their security code and stolen more than thousands of rupees from poor people in one day. So for the secure cashless nation, we need to bring awareness to all people and then implement new technology which avoids money loss.

Hi guys,

Our journey towards "developed country" is possible only if each and every citizen need to be developed technically, they should be smart at work. In this context there is a necessity in digital payments but, at the same time we also have a look at the rural areas, some areas are very backwards in development where there is no power supply at all till now!

So the main thing is first government need to increase the literacy rate and provide the required facilities like electric supply, etc. Then implement the digital payments proposal otherwise it becomes a blunder failure. Frankly speaking, in present situations digital payments are not enough to secure as we are facing problems with hackers and cyber criminals. So there is a need in development in secured websites, software etc. Then digital payments are 100% secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless.
