In my opinion, digital payments have both advantages and disadvantages. First, the advantage is there will be no black money issues, there will be a rise in the Indian economy, India will soon be a developed country and the disadvantage is like Ransom Virus, Hacking the passwords, ATM Pin no's etc. I mean the Privacy will not be secured.

In my point of view, digital payments are secure enough for the Indian economy. Nowadays technology is developing very fast. One should take a huge step to change Indian economy, which was taken by Narendra Modi ji. Rather saying that our country is not having highly educated people bla bla we should give some awareness programes to village people. So that we can grow our Indian economy in very faster rate. I think awareness programes should be conducted in government schools, so that they can help their parents very easily in case of village people. Every change is good for us and we have to take it as positive. It may be difficult at starting but further it gives some good results. We should be with patience and have to support our government. It will be helpful to our next generations.

Being an Indian, I love to except digital payment system why because we want our country to be developed and want best facilities. How will it come true? By not depositing our incomes in banks and not paying proper tax to the government. NO, digital payments system is more transparent as compared to paper currency. By accepting it by us, the government can receive proper tax on each transaction. Then the shopkeeper cannot put tax income in their pockets. They have to give that to the government. I know we have to handle difficult situations if this comes in a rule. And the youth of India is ready for this change And we want to give the developed country to our coming generation. So it's important to take hard decisions now to change and develop our country.

In India there are many places especially in rural areas where still payments are done with cash, means no digital platform.

Yes, digital payments is secure.

Because whenever you do payment through net you get some transaction id which becomes proof that yes payment had been done.

In the 21th century, who travels with lot of money in his/her pockets simplest way to carry credit/debit card which is safer the travelling with cash.

If by chance your credit/debit card got stolen there's no chance of it being used you can block that card so that further payments will not take place.

If India wants to be "cashless nation".

We really need to focus on our rural areas.

Dear all.

Digital payment is really very easy and simple way of transaction. But we need to good knowledge about this digital world. We have no any issues related to digital payment If we have good knowledge about online payment.

Yes, you are all right.

But as I experienced many small shops or vegetable, and fruit vendors especially from the village side they don't have any UPI facilities unlike us they don't even want to go totally cashless and sometimes it gets difficult to go totally cashless in India.

Hello friends.

I totally agree with this topic. Now we are living in 21century and we had faced many changes in technologies cashless payment in my view is one of the great achievement. People can carry a large amount of money in android phone and can be tension free. I think digital forms have high security. Its risk free also. Today India is said as digital India and in coming days our country will totally convert in digitalized.

Thank you.

It is not just about illiterate people but many literate people also do not show interest in digital payments as they are not confident about it. They are unable to trust digital payment apps as they have heard about so many scams and frauds. So firstly, the government should sensitize people at the ground level to make them confident about digital payments. In my opinion, digital payments are secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless but it is only possible when people will become sensitized and confident about it.

I think digital payment is good for our country because in this covid period if we use money hand to hand then it cahnces of corona virus infection so we have learn it and increse the awareness in the urban and specially in the rural sector beacuse everyone have android phone but they don't want to use and they have a fear of loss money and also not a good network in rural I know because I born in village I know everything related to that so cashless is good but with this network, knowledge and awareness is also important thing, so I think it is good and slowly slowly time is changing and it takes time to develop our country it helps people to save time and it is a faster way to send money from one account to another account in a faster, smarter and better way only use android apps and mobile phone so when are fully aware about it so it helpfull for them, safe and secure.

The topic for GD is very relevant and a major issue of concern. Going cashless is a powerful tool for carving a better and a developed nation. Along with omitting black money it will also help in maintaining records of transactions. But with the idea of cashless economy, comes complimentary the question; are digital payments secure? Well, not 100% but secure enough for an economy to go cashless.

The cyber experts are amending the presiding rules and regulations, making them more stringent and difficult for the hackers to break.

With advancement in technology, it is now much more easy to detect the location and IP address from where the crime has been committed thus making it difficult for the cybercriminals to escape.

Also, the cyber security act of India enforces strict punishment and heavy penalty on the cyber criminals.

Thus all this contribute to providing a safer environment for digital payments and leading India towards a cashless economy.
