In my point of view, digital payment is not secure until or unless everyone got to know about this thoroughly because there are many rural areas where people do not about smart phones, how to use them, what is digitization, how to make payment online and all. So until each and everyone is not aware of these things digital payments is not secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless even though it has many advantages.

Hello everyone!

According to me, it's too early to say whether digital payment is secure enough for Indian economy or not. The government in charge has to burn the midnight oil to make this move successful. Not only they have to teach the fellow Indians about e-payments and net banking stuff but also they have to educate them about cybersecurity and cyber threat prevention.

Teaching online transaction and educating cybersecurity should go hand in hand.

If India wants to go cashless we should think that there are people who are not aware of secure payment or secure methods of online payment. As technology grows threat for data piracy is increasing and various malware viruses are affecting the giant entities too. So before going cashless the people should be taught about the secure methods of payment to avoid loss of money as more people of India are coming under average or middle class people and loss of money is a huge loss for them.

Yes, I think digital payments are necessary to make the India cashless. It is right step to make the country corruption free and poverty free. The digital payments are secure enough.

Our cirbre securities are doing their good job on this problem. They regularly updates the security system.

Digital payments is well secure enough than paper currency because it is fast as well as paperless so no need to save paper money just open one application choose mobile number, bank account or what the information need for that and enter the amount and send to the another person in that one confirmation code is given by the application called it OTP i.e. one time password enter for confirmation so it is very easy.

I disagree with digital Payment because some people have not a smart phone and no other way to cashless payment and in digital payment many banks server is down and after one or half hour custmor are waiting. So please government should right the links and servers then allow the digital payment.

We would like to say that digital payment is very important for India economy. People easy to carry any time and anywhere. Control the corruption if digital payment 100% implement.

According to the current scenario digital payment is quiet secure in respect to go cashless but not so enough to boast the economy to apex. Since after demonetization multiple banks have launch they application to enhance the digital payment which means they have a secure path, easy and reliable for transaction to go so Indian economy need a support from IT industry to make digital payment more secure and robust.

I think digital payments are secure enough if you take care of your account like changing your internet banking passwords and UPI pin and also your transaction passwords. I used to do all payments online with no fear because I change all passwords and atm pin. I will handover to my friends thereby.

In my point of view, digital payments are very useful to people but country like India where the 80% of the transactions are in the physical form and only 20% transactions are cashless. The people in rural areas are not much aware of it and do not have smart phones and these people could not afford the internet as their income was low. In spite of all these things, there will be big threat from hackers, we often listen about these cases daily.
