Yes, as per my opinion, India is ready to go cashless. Because it is not a difficult task to make digital payment. So this thing can be learned by rural people.
Moreover, it is not always necessary to make payment through Internet, it can be also done by swipe machine. And today most of the big shops and small shops have these machines.
Earlier, the uneducated peoples had not known the use of ATM machine, but now they know. In the same way, they will learn to do digital payment.

In my point of view, digital payments are very secure and also done with ease. As we will have the proof of payments and list. The only thing is to have a complete knowledge in it.

Yes, digital payments is a secure way and a very nice step of Indian government to go cashless. Of course it will reduce fraud, corruption, and terrorism because of the more liquidity in the market the more chances of corruption and fraud. Also, it will save time and efforts. I read all the comments above some are arguing that in rural areas most of the people don't know how to use ATM cards, online transactions etc. So I want to put a single point that only 10 years ago had they any idea about touch screen phones? Nowadays they are using it without any issues. Every good thing take time, so it will also take some time and will be in line even in rural areas.
Thanks.
Thanks.

My point is nothing is enough for any country or state they just have to keep going on with new initiative like this digitalisation.
My first point is while going digitalisation large amount of currency can b save which is just wasting in printing transporting and handling of notes. Also, digitalisation improves literacy rate in our country as while using digitalisation people need to know basic knowledge.
Secondly, money which is hidden by government comes back in the eye of our govt. From which they charged taxes and more budget will come back to our country.

According to me, there is no doubt that it's a very wise move by the government. Yeah, it will reduce corruption and terrorism due to the decrease of liquidity of money in a market. But at present time India can't go cashless because as all say India mostly come into villages. First, we have to increase the literacy rate of India after that only we can fully implement cashless in India.

Hello, friends.
In my opinion, in the present time, it is not possible to go cashless economy for India because every Indian have no smartphone and village people does not know how to use net banking and debit card payment. First, we have to give a smart phone to every Indian if they have not then trained all people how to use online banking then we can go to a cashless economy.

With the great initiative taken by our PM I believe Indian economy is all set to go cashless a year ago who knew hat even the street shops would accept paytm money, 2 years ago who believed people would use online cab services with the advancement of technology and with great faith in our government I personally believe India is ready for secure payments with initial effort to acknowledge everyone about e payments.
Thank you.
Thank you.
