Cashless payments are good to some extent because while going cashless or via paytm you need to pay sone extra amount of money instead of your original payment.

Just like a coin, this also has two sides. As per growing Indian economy and IT technology, it's good to see digitalization. Everything is digital so which make reduce frodness. Saves papers is important. But other side peoples are leaving in the village, uneducated people get affected due to this. It will take a time to get trained.

Hello, everyone.
As far as, our country is concerned, India is still developing. So digital payments will obviously add up to the development of India. But this depends on the citizens of India. Eventhough we are the second most populated country in the world most of the population are illiterate, living in the rural areas. They don't have the enough knowledge of how to make a transaction via smart phone or internet. Then what is the point in making digital transactions. When security is concerned, the security is very poor. Until people get convinced that their details or money or etc are secured they will not willing for digital payments. Terrorist attack happens and these people stalks the personal details of common people. So the govt need to work on the security as well as making indians literate before taking such a step.

It's a great decision but in the villages, some people don't know all about this online transaction so it's only 50 or 60% effectively work.

In my opinion, digital payments have merits as well as demerits. India is not a fully developed country. If there are metro cities, then there are a lot of villages and backwards slum areas as well. If physical cash will not be accepted, many sections of society will face problems. Thus they should be trained first on how the market works digitally then there will be a clear pathway to launch digital payments.
Yes, they are secure enough as compared to cash. Taxes can be levied more easily in cashless society. Thus it is secure enough but we should train backwards sections too before making the whole India cashless.

Right now, we cannot say that digital payments are secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless. Our system needs much more improvement. Recently we have ransom malware attack which affected the people all over the globe. This shows how secure our internet is. We need to make. The internet more secure before going for the cashless economy. So it takes some time to make the internet more secure.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Yes, it is a good thing for digitalization in our country. It saves time & there is no hard work to do. But remember question is how to secure the payment? How to know in urban areas people? Yes, it is big problem in the Urban area. But nothing to worry about that because our country fully not cashless as early as possible so it is a long process. I hope that one thing is that every school & colleges gives lessons about cashless payment. Students will learn things & accept. And last one thing is that every company worker should go cashless payment. The New generation takes the decision for going cashless. Everyone sure that our economy goes cashless.

Yes, digital payments are secure enough for the Indian economy. There are a lot of benefits of digital payments. We save paper and time by digital payments. And we do not need to carry cash with us for purchasing anything. And if we lost our card then that can be blocked and we can get a new card by the bank. But there is need of awareness about digital payments so that each and every person can use it securely. Because there are so many people who do not know how to use atm card and if some know then they do not know what preventive steps should be taken for the payments securely.
