Are digital payments secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless?

Just to add some views with regards to the security of payments for Indian economy to go cashless, it is most important to keep the aspects of digital rather cyber threats in mind. The hacking community is always there for the so called cyber threats considering the potential points like URL manipulation to hacking of passwords. But unfortunately all these are considered for the privilege class who are interested in viewing a smarter India. However, there also remains a class of people who don't even posses a mobile to indulge themselves e-payments and being exposed to the digital world.

100% digitalization is very good decision if it is taken by government, but It is not possible in our Indian society. Because still in India we can see many people doesn't even know how to use gadgets and how work on gadgets. People are still not properly developed they need more knowledge about how to use it and for gain knowledge about gadgets. Government should start any campaign for that and aware people.

Digitalization good for us because it will help to reduce corruption and government will get help from this. No body will fraud money by selling things without bill. But for 100% digitalization now a days we cannot afford because in villages people still doesn't know about all that thing at all.

Though going cashless has many advantages, the security is the only concern that impacts a lot. As younger generations have got no solution to cybercrime, people at the age of 30 or 40 will not have trust on payment gateways. Going cashless is a great step for the development of the country but more importance should be given to secure payment methods.

Digital Payment to develop technologies into next level and secure handle our money anytime. Transactions possible at few minutes only. Reduces time and manpower but online sometime traffic will affect transaction results not in there. Sometimes our money will loss.

In my opinion, digital transactions are secure but the main problem is that most of people especially in small cites and rural areas are not really aware about of digital transaction. And they are not very comfortable with the new methods of payments so want to stick to their traditional way of exchange that is cash. But gradually they will be habitual with digital transactions. But at the same time the regularities authories should make sure that the with the growth of digital transactions the security should not be compromised.

Yes, digital payments are secured. In this system everyone have their unique password that we call it OTP which is a system generated password and is sent to the one's personal mobile number. As it is a system generated password so it is different from others and is secured.

Yes, digital payment makes cashless India but secure because some uneducated people don't know about how to use digital payment.

And some people not secure for payment details for a pin number and card number. The unkown person asking a question like a bank staff through a phone call, mail and some other way they said detail and this is important point thank you.

As per the basic definition of governance, it must be transparent ie when we make transaction cashless it would be under the supervision of bank and government so that government can track and impose a tax and vandalise the parallel economy as there is only 3% of the population pay taxes. But the thing which here concerned is that cashless transaction is only limited to certain urban people. Moreover, the government should focus for the cybercrime as some people are very less aware of that. A strong safeguard and IT professional should be there to avoid such crime and strict laws should be assigned.

Hello guys. According to me, it's very good for our country but it will take more time to reach everybody like still there no service in some villages.

It is good but according to peoples of rural area is very difficult to do. To overcome this we can create awareness for them.
