Hi, friends.
In my opinion, digital payments are not secure enough, because in a country like India where only a small fraction of the population have access to the internet and even fewer know how to use it, so they can never be sure about what they are doing. Nowadays a person can move money from someone's account if he has his debit or credit card number and access to his registered phone.
So, as tempting and convenient as digital payment is, India need some work to be done before switching to digital payment from cash-based payment like creating awareness, increasing the reach of the internet, providing people with means to access the internet.
The Cashless economy is need of the hour but it shouldn't come at a greater cost.

Yes, Digital payments are secured enough for the Indian economy to go cashless but this payment system is not used by the peoples who are not educated. For this, we have to spread the digital payments to the people who are not using this and this can be done by government on a large scale. If only we will promote the apps but not the process of using it then it will be of less use. For using the Digital payments there should be a bank account of everyone so this should be the foremost thing to be get done.

According to me, this initiative which is taken by our PM is very much revolutionary because it provides us with simple and easy method of the transaction and it will provide a transparency related to tax. Suppose you have to do any transaction of the large amount you can easily do it without any fear from carrying the money to the destination And in this way the transaction for black money will also be minimized.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yes. Digital payment is the best strategy to go cashless. First of all, we have to awara people who are lives in a rural area about digital payment, we have to give information about the terms and conditions to the people. The main benefit of this is corruption will be stopped by the cashless system. So according to me, digital payments are secure for the Indian economy to go cashless.

Yes, I think so. Why because with the help of digital transactions, money rotation is less and the amount of black money generation is reduced. So that any transaction must be having a proper tax and then economy of the country is improved. As, if you observed the developed countries, the same system will be employed. So to grow as like a developed countries digital payments needed.

No, I don't think so because our payment gateway s are not that much secure we can take example of Paytm we have seen in news that people s Paytm money is going off the companies itself are frauds there is no need of hackers to take your money away.
And sometimes it happens you paid online but you have not got the benefit you have paid for so the gateway's are not trustworthy also.
So before making public educated about digital payment thing we need to make secure, antitheft gateway's as well companies has to win the trust of the people.

In my opinion, before going to implement this digital payment we should create awareness among rural areas. But this is not enough to go cashless. If we able to make strong education system automatically chances of job opportunity will be increase for the rural people which will be easier for them to understand this digital payment system.

Digital payments is one of the initiative taken by our prime minister, which could be the greatest achievement for Indian economy, if it is successful. Digital payments is nothing but performing all the transactions through onlinelogin portals of banks or through different mobile applications like paytm etc. In cities now a days the number of people doing digital payments is increasing but on the other hand the people of rural areas are far behind. This is because of lack of belief in this technology. One of the reason for this is the incidents of hacking. So, I think for India to go cashless first the technology that supports fast and secure transactions should be developed. This can be done, if the government encourages the young and knowledgeable students to give their ideas in this aspect and get them implemented by professionals. Then awareness should be spread among all the people about digital payments and all the necessary facilities should be made available in the rural areas.
So, for now complete digital payments are not secure enough. But it must be encouraged and on the otherhand safe technology should be developed such that in future definitely India will go feraless, cashless India.

There is a renowned proverb saying "A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush". Today we have zest and skill to make India a developed nation and 'digital India' is one such rung of the ladder which can shape this dream. We will not be able to find the solution of a problem until we encounter it, so what is actually needed is firm and strict laws against prudent hackers and cyber criminals and strong protection for data of each and every individual. We should have vigil eye on every payment and should nub the unauthorized person.
Digital India can make our country stand in the queue of powerful countries of the world. It helps in recognizing the genuine individual of the nation. Digital India will lead to less corruption and less middleman involvement. Even if we ignore all these advantages, digital India is saving our environment which is itself a huge applaudable condition for this burgeoning population.
So, I logically infer that we should unite to encourage this wonderful step, with a vigil eye on corrupted.
