Yes, they are the reason is as follows;

1) Any payment made offers the payer an OTP or an ID.
2) Payment transaction is connected through Indian commercial banks whom we can trust.
3) the Reserve Bank Of India further enriches the trust of the payers to use digital payment facility.
4) The existence of internet crime organization makes the payee even safer.

Here the topic is that are digital payments secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless it has a lot of advantages which increases the security and reduce the corruption. Here cashless scheme makes India developed and improving security in public. Nowadays, when we have lots of option regarding digital India like otp. Digital India make payment easy.

Hello everyone.

According to me, digital payment is 100% secure if user is aware of how to use the electronic payments system for example if they are aware that user ID and password should not be share OTP should not be share.

And if we Indian who are best in IT cannot provide security then nobody can do it.

Moreover it is more safe then to carry cash.

Digital payments is surely benefitial by saving our time and transforming Indian economy. But the security reasons are a major concern. The cyber crime and hackers are smart enough to tackle the technology. Whereas the poor and the illiterate have no knowledge about it. Thus it will be much better first to make an "educated India" than a "digital India".

Yes, it is beneficial to go cashless because if we have hard money then it is the best reason for corruption, corruption is not goes out but we control it by go cashless and by the soft money we have no chance to rob by someone if someone steals my wallet then I cancel the transaction of my debt as well as debit card and renew it by going nearest branch.

India being a country where most of the people are not technologically advanced, is challenging to cashless. Moreover, there are incidents of vishing where fraudsters call and collect bank details. If the phone is stolen, then being cashless, the person will be quite helpless.

Hence, going completely digital is not a good option for the Indian Economy.

Hi everyone, I am in favor of this topic because by digital payments one's knowledge about technology increases, and gone are days when people like to stand in long queues, we want everything very fast and now.

And we don't have to bother about timings of the banks. This thing is increasing the awareness about not cutting the trees in individuals mind.

Yes, we have secure enough secure for the Indian economy to go cashless. One of the major initiations recently taken up by Indian govt is cash less economy. After demonetization there was no cash in the circulation at that time we have done all the transaction through online by that these are all genuine transaction there is chance to make black money.

Though going cashless has many advantages, the security is the only concern that impacts a lot. As younger generations have got no solution to cybercrime, people at the age of 30 or 40 will not have trust on payment gateways. Going cashless is a great step for the development of the country but more importance should be given to secure payment methods.
