As India moves towards an cashless economy digital payments can't be avoided. Security measures should be taken appropriately to secure personal data of citizens else the whole economy may suffer of severe crisis. Attacks like Ransomeware are now common in today's online world. Indian Govt should take proper care to literate common man about using digital payment securely for example : two time verification, safeguarding passwords, using complex passwords, knowledge regarding social engineering and also using anti-virus. With proper care taken from govt to make people aware of the vulnerabilities of using digital payment the era of secure cashless economy can be achieved to some extent.

I think it's good step for Indian government for making India digital payment but government face some issues in rulers area because village people not know how to use digital payment and how to add money people think digital payments it's secure or not because before a day cyber attack in India and hack information digital payment good for India because your money is safe in digitally and it is to carry.

Yeah, I do support with the statement making every thing digitalized is quite easier way to access the things from where ever it is needed. But our government has to motivate and make the people to get awareness of Indian economy to go cashless that is govt should give some time period to make the people aware of this particular system by keeping the trainees near the banks and at the places where there is the need of cash to make the payments after giving the particular time they have to keep some dead end for the time period then after they should reduce the flow currency step by step and also they should not put the extra charges for the transmissions that were made through banks so that people may show interest in going cashless.

Digital payment is a very good step taken by the Indian government. Digital payment makes possible for the people to get the thing done by sitting at home and going outside to purchase that. Yeah, It is a good step but not taken in the correct manner. Before making everything digitised people should be aware of the tools of it and the proper use of it. It is helpful for those who are able to use it but not for them who are poor they are not able to get their things done who don't know the actual use of some cunning people make fool of them and harm them or their money by charging extra and all so it is good to step but without proper execution.

Considering the point of veiw, of the government of India it's an enormous advancement towards the development of Indian economy. As known by all this movement has eminence potential to convert it into high-tech efficiency country.
As highlighted earlier about the potential this is in its growth phase but this point can't be avoided that security is the major issue but think about it once and question yourself doesn't it require a change. If yes nothing can be achieved without problems. Eventually, with increase in usage of this movement, it will certainly become possible to bring advancement in security systems as well.
The Government has taken various initiatives to make people aware of the technology available but it's completely an individual choice to adopt it or not.
Lastly, I firmly believe that challenges are followed by resistance &risk and this risk is worthwhile.

I think the step taken by the Indian government to go cashless is good. I also agree that there are certain issues with that as far as the security is concern and the unawareness towards the technology among the people specially from rular areas and the elder generation people to go cashless but it is not the big issue because the cash transactions or the usual transaction payments is not completely banned. So the people having choice to go both way either digital payments or cash payments or both so as a conclusion I agree with the point that it is a good step and digital payments are secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless if the government ensure about the system's security from the hackers.

Hello everybody.
In my opinion, it is a very good and bold decision of a govt to make Indian economy cashless. There are numerous benifits of going cashless. But at same time security is big concern for it. So before making Indian economy cashless there should be high security that digital payments are secure enough. Secondly there should enough training and education to the people of India.

Making India cashless is very good decision by the government, as the technologies are taking the world to great level by reducing the manpower. As today it is just a work of seconds for payment, money transfer etc. It makes the life of people easier but every thing has its dark sides. Recently the attack of ransomeware globally make the people think that digital payment a unsafe measure. 2-3 weeks ago, concurrently children in japan developed a ransomeware pass it to the servers and demanded for ransome. But later it is controlled by the cyber security of Japan and the boy is also arrested by the cops. If this things takes place in India then I think the cops and cyber security of India will not get deal with this thing. I am not telling that digital payment is a false step to put in but there are many hackers who doesn't like this system and they started hacking the site, Facebook account, twitter. These creates problems for the folks. So before making any digital payment please check the authenticity of the payment gateway and whether it is secured or not.

In my opinion, the digitization of payments is a good thought of government but the people of India are still not aware of using it. But main threat is the cyber crime. Every one wants to open a digital wallet but there is no control over it by any government body. Even though some days before a news went viral, that about 30000 ATM's has been hacked. It means before implementing the digitization of payment, and government body should ensure the safety from cyber crime and also start a drive to make the people more comfortable with this.

Hello friends.
India is a developing country and digital payments or cashless economy is a demand of time. So our goi takes some steps to implement digital payments in our country. The idea of implementing digital payment is very good but it should be implemented in a phased manner so that it doesn't create any problem for all people of our country.
In our a lot of people is not aware about the digital payment so we have to give them some education about the digital2 payment1 and transactions. But our population is so big and due to that we cannot give knowledge about the digital payment in 1yr or 2yr. We have arrange this also in a phased manner so that all people become digitally literate.
The most important thing in India is the security. Because in digit economy security plays a very important role. To make digital payment secure we have to protect the data from hackers. Nowdays hacking and cyber crime is a very big problem so for implementing digital payment our government should first focussed on security without which we cannot implement digital economy in a proper way.
