I think digital payment is a great idea for developing our country economy. It is:
1) Time-saving.
2) User-friendly.
3) Convenience.
4) All the transaction can be performed at any time at anywhere.
5) Our money is more secure we need not worry about the robbery.
6) It takes more time those people are lived in rural areas.
7) Digital transactions can't be suitable for uneducated people, old age people etc.
8) Control expenses.

I think our cyber security is not so prominent to go cashless but we need to take the step forward in the future for the same so why not today. If we go cashless now people will gradually learn to be independent and will not be dependent on the third person to make their payments etc. And the step has been taken so now the security will also be made good gradually. So it is a good move and I appreciate Indian government for the same.

After going through each of the answers and the topic only thing that kept striking me in my mind was that security is not what we should worry about whether it's enough or not. Talking of Indian economy going in a digital way, the most important thing we should worry for is that whether the outskirts of the cities or the villages where electricity is still not available, can they be digitalised? then comes the question of security.

Hi guys.
I think we need this kind of system if we want to develop our country it will help us to reduce BLACK money. I agree this system is not useful for rural areas but we have to tech them how to use. They should know about this system. And, nowadays nothing is impossible for anyone because rural area people know how to use latest mobiles.
I hope people learn this latest technology which can help us to reduce the Black Money.

Good Morning Everyone.
I think it is not more secure to go to cashless for the Indian economy. But it will definitely become such. Because it is our first step to go a step forward on this way. And we all know, in staring we face a lot of difficulties in every work but after a lot of practices and hard work we get the success and an easy going way also. So we can definitely say that it will be better for ourselves and our economy.

Considering the current situation in the country, it could not be a vulnerable situation for the digital payments. Rather than, it's a responsibility of the Indian government to provide and protect the digital payments. Government has to undergo to make the Indian economy enough strong with the digital payments so that people can have the assurety. As it is initial stage, need to be provide some benefits for these kind of payments.

Yes, I think digital India is enough for the Indian economy to go cashless but point is to implement in a more effective manner in which less educated people can also use their transaction by cashless mode eg Paytm etc govt should acknowledge people in about important of cashless. In a rural area, people should use the cashless mode of payment as imperative. Then only we can say digital payment is enough to Indian economy cashless.

Well if you ask me it has more advantage than disadvantage first it will improve Indian economy and obviously lower caste will be benefited from it the most. Black money will be reduced.
Yes there is a danger for hackers and all that.
But we have police for that.
Discard the use of digital money just because of hackers is like you are not allowing women to go out of your home because there are stalkers outside waiting for them.

Yes, It is true at the level of the youth generation, but when we talk about backward areas or consider old age people then they are not suitable for digital payments. In new generation know how to use it and what we can do for our own security but old people can't handle it.
If we want to India will make digital then first consider on our older citizen and must be improved everyone at a child level when a new one comes on earth.

According to me, cashless economy is good for minimizing the corruption but the problem is that the rural areas are no developed first of all we have to aware the people about digitalization in then we have the cashless economy.
Now a day most of the areas in India is not have the internet courage through cellular data. First of all, we have to work on the internet connectivity and speed then we are able to do a cashless economy.
