I think digital payment is good for our country but there are 74.04% literacy in India. So there are 25. 94% ignorant people live in India. So they will not be able to accept the digital payment. Although it's good for India because we don't respect our currency and we write anything on currency notes. So by accepting digital payment I think we can solve this problem.
And also corruption will have full stop if we accept the digital payment throughout the country.

No doubt, digital payments are convenient, fast and less troublesome but the latest instances of cyber attack like WannaCry ransomware pose a big challenge to the digital india's dream of making India a cashless or less cash country. It is a forever process of improving our systems as the trouble makers are no less innovative than us. I think from being cashless it's better to be a less cash society so as to provide a support system in case a cyber attack happens.

No, I really don't think India is ready for cashless payment the main reason is no of uneducated people is in very large amount. There is thousands of people in India who never used a credit card or debit card in his whole life also one of the important points we keep in our mind that for cashless payment there is at least a need of smartphone but in India smartphone user is only 40% so how can you think digital payment is secure for India economy to go cashless.

As India is developing country so the process of making India cashless if very difficult and time consuming process it may be possible as fast as possible when all the people of India becomes aware about what's the advantages for going across the cashless economy transactions and it will take lots of time and also there is no security about that there will be 100% true result. So I think it has to be taken as the dream which may be possible or partially possible.

According to my point of view, now India has a cashless country. But according to digital payments. Is not easy for all to do all transactions. Everyone you know in India 70-75% area covered with rural. So first we all we aware about the digital payments who don't know. We go all rural areas give ideas and aware about digital payments. In this way poor people get aware. Acc. To my point of view there is many benefits like cashback after the transaction and so on.

Hello friends, my name is Binu John.
We are discussing the topic of the digital payments are secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless?
In the present condition has to go the cashless payments are the relevant factor in the economy. All transaction has been changed to digital payments for secure and timely transfer of money.
In my opinion on this topic was to improve the efficiency of the network and provide more security on to the cashless payments.

Well I read most of views and each comment one sentence Is mention that in our country many of people is illiterate. But you have to think there are many people who literate. Every coin there is two side so in my opinion this is a good way to make India digital. Not 100%will be succeed but if we reach atleast 70% in 2 year then it make a big change. Nd one more thing I think it is secure if we alert then you never get hacked. So be smart and make the world smart.

Hi friends, In my opinion, sudden complete implementation of any new Technology is difficult thus digitisation should be implemented in phases. It has certain merit like Being Robber safe and every transaction being open to Government thus tax robbery also prevented but it also brings few demerits like a threat of Cyber Crime stating that INDIA being among Top 5 Cyber Crime affected countries.
Thus steadily digital payments should be promoted in Indian Economy.

Yes, I do agree that digital payments are secure enough but only for the people who are tech savvy and have access to the internet and also knows how to use it. Previously, there were only few regions in India where people had access to the internet, but as we all know that India is growing towards digitalisation and now almost everyone has access to the internet so if the digital payment is promoted now it can be very helpful in making Indian economy cashless.

Basically what I believe is that digital payments are simple and safe enough and I don't believe in a cash less economy, both assist each other though there is much training required regarding digital payments and its use for our rural peoples and few securities issue which will seem to be small once the person is informed and aware.
I guess having 5000 bucks in ATM card in one side of my jeans pocket is safer that carrying the same amount in other pocket. :).
