A Ship Docked in Harbor cannot face the Storms

In this idiom "Ship" means life and storm means unexpected events or difficulties. Many a times occur that things are not like what we planned. Our life is full of unexpected events. I f we face it, will rewarded with experienced if something like that occurs in future we can face it with ease. But if ignore it then facing similar situation in future, we won't be able to face it.

Life do not come with bed of roses instead there are many thorns in the way. But a real soldier is who overcomes all the difficulties he faces in his path with patience. Happiness and grief are part of life. Like after every night there is morning. So to achieve success we have to travel through many difficulties. Difficulties help the person to become more strong and to face more challenging situation. So we should always try to find solution to the problem rather than escaping it.

I totally concur with the topic because in life none of the things ain't easy to get. For example, if you want something than you would have to go to your father and ask earnestly about it not that your father will intuitively know what you want.

It is you who have to come a step forward. A person sitting in the stands cannot become a great player unless he comes into the field and play. The people who always finds the thing too easy to get can't sustain when subjected to adverse conditions. A value of a real gold is only visible when it is subjected to immense flame.

Hello I would like to phrase my views for this topic.

We all know life is a long chain of process. In this process you will interact with lots of storm with lots of pain but we should never surrender rather then we should fight with this storm and go ahead with the ambition to have eventually bliss in your life. Running with your responsibilities doesn't assist you in your life to succeed. Instead of escaping your life valuable moment one should take the life as an Adventure and sail with time.

Life is like a waves and tides, there will always be accent and decent in the voyage of life but rather being escaping it cowardly its always better to face it boldly and acquire with destination. For how long one would not face challenge, one day will be at the moribund stage then there would not be any ways to escape it, you have to endure it whether you wanted it or not. So my conclusion is that ultimately we all have to face the storm one day so why don't we experience with it now along the journey of the life and try to conquer this world of yours. Once you conquer your destination with all this adversities then you will know, yeah you had your life and you will find everything beautiful around you, so don't give up and just TRY TRY TRY TRY TRY TRY AND TRY.

It's rightly said that a ship docked in harbour can't face the storm. You need to take the challenges coming your way in order to be successful. You come to know of your real capabilities only once you jump into the sea. Sitting into a safe zone and commenting is easy. Famous football player Messi wouldn't have been what he is if he had not sweat out in ground practicing for hours and hours. So take the risk and challenges if you win, you would lead, if you loose you would be a guide. Don't be like the frog hopping in the well.

True, because the storm surge will push the ship onto the dock or against other ships. Better to take it out to sea to avoid damage. The waves at the shore are often higher than at sea because of the shallow water near the dock causes the waves to crest, causing damage to boats docked there. Man made docks fail. That is why. To be at anchor in a Harbor or protected waterway is what smart Captains do with the vessels that they are responsible for.

If it is a Ship, they go to sea.

Failures, mistakes, fear, problems, challenges, weaknesses and unconfidence are the main part of every life. If we do not know about these, we can not polish ourselves. Doctors can do the treatment of the patients if he knows about his disease. We can go ahead if we recognized our shortcomings and remove from our life. Life is full of hurdles, we always should prepare for every storm. Perseverance always should our motive. If we have passion to reach our destination point we can face our problems. If we will not enter in the problems, how we can find the solutions. So think always positive, if we have done it, we cannot stop.

Here, Ship is compared to our life and storm is compared to the hurdles that the life faces. A ship docked in the harbour cannot face the storm that means a person never faced the failures can never get the taste of success. Ship is made to sail in the sea. And life is all about facing failures than getting the success. Unless or until we will not face the situation s of the life we will never able to get the right path.

There are many examples like APJ Abdul kalam our former president, Mr Modi our recent prime minister, Founder of reliance Mr Ambani and their are many more. If they never sailed in the sea they would never be holding such important prestige of the country. So, the ship is meant to sail their is no use of its to docked in the harbour for us to get the real success we have to face challenges failures and hardships!
