The File format of *.JPG / JPEG : Joint Photographic Experts Group is a image/picture/photo file which is grabbed from its PIxel and Resolution even GIF file is also the image/picture/photo file but it's quite different from *.JPG / JPEG So GIF is mainly used in Animated pic but in general and modified term the *.JPG / JPEG file format has been used and is in use.
