We know velocity of light is 3*10^8 m/sec. Sound velocity is 330 m/sec. There no possibility to travel in light speed only possible in sound velocity.

The speed of any object is greater than the speed of sound.

But a sonic boom is heard when a plane reaches the speed of sound, so shouldn't that be when it goes supersonic?

Sound waves are classified as,

Infrasonic waves having a frequency below 20hz.

Audible waves having a frequency between 20hz to 20kHz.

Supersonics or ultrasonic waves having frequencies above 20kHz.

Thus considering these frequencies correct answer is C.
